“Care to explain this?” Bulma asked curtly, tossing an object toward her husband. Vegeta deftly caught the item, frowning in irritation at such an obvious answer.

“It’s a scouter,” he stated.

Bulma placed her hands on her hips, giving him a cool look.

“Put it on.”

Vegeta frowned, but did as she instructed, placing the device over his ear and eye and activating the power. As the screen snapped to life, Bulma continued speaking.

“I found this in the lab and thought I’d pick it apart for fun; really get into the guts of it... when I came across that. Care to explain it?”

Vegeta felt the heat creeping into his face at the images that flashed before his eye. He looked boldly back to his wife through the rose-colored lens, trying to keep the tone of his voice casual.

“...This one was Nappa’s...”

Mwuahahaha! Shows such a neat BV moment with a touch of humor. Plus a different side to Vegeta because it's always so rare that he actually gets embarassed (and shows it), which is why I always love it when he gets flustered in the anime. Plus, the situation is so domestic. I'll bet Bulma is gonna use this to blackmail Vegeta into something!

OH! hehehehehehehehe....Now, if it had been me in that situation, I would have said something about the pictures having been before he'd ever met Bulma. Good thing it wasn't ME! *wink*

I noticed you left out the color of the scouter screen, and that makes this so open ended to all sorts of possibilities.

Thanks again, ya'll! I wrote this last night in a state of very tired, very bored delirium. My sister and I laughed really hard over the fact that, not only was Vegeta viewing such blush-inducing images over the galactic internet, but he saved them to his hard drive! The very idea just makes me want to die laughing. I like the quirky things that soften Vegeta's character and make him more 'human' (for lack of a better word). Such as him being afraid of/creeped out by the worms in the Buu episode where he and Goku are in Buu's body.

And yes, Macha, that scouter truly was his own.

I really liked this one.

Y'know, with all these creative drabbles, I'm beginning to appreciate the possibilities a scouter brings to a fic. So now, I hope there's more DBZ fics that actually use scouters! I think I've only ran across one fic where Vegeta modifies his personal scouter to be an alien PC of his but I don't recall the title or author...

Ya'll are too good to me. It makes me want to write more drabbles, but they are so hard. So few words! It kills me! I want to keep writing, but I cannot neglect the monkey on my back... and no, it's not Nappa.
