This is late, I know. I'm in San Francisco, playing tourist and gearing up for Yaoicon this weekend. I needed a theme and I hope you like this one - it can be interpreted a zillion different ways.
November's theme is
GAMES
This can be interpreted anyway you want as long as it involves a game. Want to make it about your favorite DBZ game? Good. How about your own ad for a new DBZ game? Good. Want to use game artwork? Good. Want it to be about DBZ characters playing a game? Good. (Goku and Vegeta playing strip checkers? Great!  )

So, as promised, we're going through the poll results - and the results have left me in a bit of a quandary. You see - we have a three-way tie for second place. Now I could give each of them their own month, but I decided what the hell - let's go for broke.

If Goku were more jealous he'd be very upset that Vegeta got a month before he did... but he's not because he knows Vegeta needed it more than he did.
So September's theme is
GOKU!!!!!
Banner guidelines:
Anyone can submit a banner (or banners - if inspiration strikes, don't stop). It should be 175 pixels high x 1000 pixels wide in a JPEG or GIF format. Make sure they include DBZ Fanfic Salon somewhere on it. (Please make sure it is the correct size when you make it.) And include your Salon name in your email to me - we have so many people I'm not always sure who is sending it.

There will be prizes!!! I have two Piccolo keychains.

I felt it necessary to remind our guests and new members of the Salon rules, so here they are:

For those of you who have been misinformed, not one single person has been banned.
Some things were done while things calmed down, but apparently they are not calming. I'm sorry to see that, but rest assured, the Salon is still here. My policy remains that the Salon is a safe place for play and discussion for everyone.
If you want to ask questions, you can PM me, but as far as I am concerned the drama is over. As I said days ago, I will delete any additional posts about it. |

I had this idea - and it was too good to wait to announce it. (And I wondered why it hadn't been done before, although it is true I didn't know about this until this year, but anyway, here's July's topic.)
*takes a deep breath*
TeamFourStar!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Make a banner of your favorite line(s) or bit. Maybe it's Ghost Nappa. Or Squeaky Goku. Or something older. (There's been alot of great stuff.)
But since they do cuss in the videos and we're not allowed to here (not really - or at least not as much as they do) you'll need to censor stuff like f**king if it's in one of your banners.)

May's theme is a special request/suggestion and I liked it:
SAIYANS
Any of them - all of them. Alone or part of a group. You can interpret this theme anyway you want to. Just include a Saiyan or demi-Saiyan.
There will be surprise Goku prizes.

April's theme is the best of the best Saiyans, and one of the few good things about GT...

It can be about any level of Gogeta - SSJ or SSJ4.
