Well, it's been a week and I was just curious to know how many contest fics members had read.

Yep, I have no life. I've read all of them. ^-^ I'm delaying voting, though, until I get the chance to re-read them all.

Because I have a life and other issues, I've read about 3 (but I plan to get them all done...I promise).

I have no life either, so I read them all. I will re-read my very favorites and weight my final decision very carefully... all that said, I will wait until the very last possible minute to vote.

I've read them all, but I have no intention of voting for a while. I feel like I need to go back and re-read them all more carefully... maybe even make a list of plus and minuses for each...

it was very fun, and it did help me pick a winner. But I'm still waiting to re-read the fics again before I vote.

I've read them all but I'm still undecided between my two favourites.

Same here. It took me three ou four days, what with work and other RL-related stuff to do, but I managed to read'em all in a short time. Although I liked them all, I was very, very torn between two fics. Choosing my favorite one has been painful, but I re-read them again yesterday and finally made up my mind... ^_^

As of now, I've read almost half of the fics. Starting next week, I'll probably have them all read by the end of the week.

KYAAAAAAAAAAAAA I voted Finally!! *huge weight off shoulders* It was a VERY hard decision, and the more I read the fics the more I was tempted not to vote... how can you chose only one!? Hopefully I'll be able to vote for my other faves on the other categories

I'm almost done with reading...but I already have a couple of faves...I'm tempted to vote but I'm controlling myself to give the other fics (4 of them i think) a fair chance. I should be done reading during this up coming week and then I'll vote whenever I'm done. I can't procrastinate on voting...most likely I'll keep changing my mind if I voted later.

I've read them all (mostly at work) and I plan on reading them once or twice more. I'm torn between a few of them, but I want to say GREAT JOB EVERYONE! :thumbsup: . I think it would be fun to guess who wrote which piece!

I'm already pulling my hair tryng to. Before the winners are announced, or the authors revealed we should all post our 'guesses' just for kicks, to see who's the closest

That would be fun but for me since I'm new to reading most of your guys' fics that I doubt I'll be able to guess without knowing your writing styles.

Heck just give it a shot, you might be closer than you think ;)

HA! I'm done!! Too many good fics. In fact they were all good. So good luck to everyone who participated, but remember that you are all winners anyway. Each fic was really good and one winner is just too hard to decide so even if you don't get a prize, you are still all winners in your own way.

I was really busy with work, so I only started reading yesterday, but I'm half through. They are all really good in different ways. Are we allowed to vote even if we have an entry? I wasn't going to vote for my own, but rather pick among everybody else's. Is there an etiquette to this?

So far there are two I am really torn between, but I have like five more to read. I think it would be a good idea to have a contest to see if we can guess who wrote which ones. I don't think I know straight off, except for one of them.

This contest have proven to be very Multi Task, man Overall best fics, "Best" award prices, Guess who wrote what, the possibilities are endless... I love it.

I did what you were planning to do, after all it would be pretty sad to vote for onself... although the presidents do it ;)

Just because you entered doesn't mean you can't vote.

Although since it's an anonymous contest you really shouldn't tell everyone you entered. Now they've got a name to go with a fic! :P

That you mentioned it, Blue, I may have figured out which one's your's...but it doesn't make any difference in my voting cause I voted for the contest yesterday :P

Sorry, LisaB, didn't think it was a problem just to mention that I had entered since there are so many fics there anyway. Chances are, based on who has been active in fanfic writing, and this board, that most people can figure out the people who entered anyway,

I am just so glad to read so much BV fic that I think it will be quite sad when the contest is over if we have to wait too long for people to write some fresh fiction.

Yes, they were all so good. None of them are mine. I've never written a one shot. It seems hard to me.

I haven't written a one shot either yet but would like to try it one of these days. I'm just afraid that my brain thinks a little too much.

Me too. I would probably start out thinking it was a one shot, and end up with 20 chapters.

:rotflmao: I totally understand. The shortest I've written is five pages long but that was for my creative writing class in college and it had to be a short story. That was hard since we had a word limit too.

Finally I finished reading them all and voted! But they were all SO wonderful, I felt bad having to choose one....
