The Akira was able to launch from the planet containing the space bubble, which led to an alternate universe. With a brand new warp nacelle the Akira took off and began initial testing to make sure everything was aligned properly. We would soon be preparing to make our first attempt at duplicating the engine overload that brought us here. Where is here you ask? We are 300,000 light years from the Alpha Quadrant! A minor miscalculation by ME caused the test to be aborted and even more repairs to commence. However, for the most part things went as expected. Meanwhile, the Captain called a meeting of the Senior Staff to discuss ways of bringing the Skedar scenario closure. This far away from the Alpha Quadrant, all species we encounter are unknown to the Federation, however, it didn’t take long for us to figure out something was terribly wrong. Clearly, the Skedar had used their technology to control the minds of many species. The people of this galaxy are obviously being oppressed which means according to SF protocol we are responsible for answering any and all distress calls. If you have the skills to help us protect these people and the stamina for a mission 300,000 lt. yrs from the alpha quadrant, join us!
