Now that season #4 is soundly on its way, it's great to see Enterprise working as a much tighter unit.

The Xindi arc last season certainly had its moments - both good and bad - but the overall season-long arc did grow tiring at the end.

Now that Enterprise is back to focusing on smaller story lines - and hopefully single episode story lines as well - we can all sit back and rock to some adventurous tales the way Trek should reflect them.

Thus far, I found the 'Soong' arc enjoyable and the 'Vulcan' arc superb. It's properly whet my appetite for the remainder of the season to come.

Hopefully the ratings will continue to improve thus insuring season #5.

We can hope...

-John

John,

While I agree that Enterprise is getting 'better', I have to take exception with your rating of the Vulcan arc as 'exceptional'.

The Vulcans (I'm a fan, if you couldn't tell) have not been portrayed honorably since Enterprise began.

In fact, if I can be so blunt, they've been bastardized for the sake of a story.

There was no need to show the Vulcans as a non-logical race. This was never commented on in previous Trek shows or movies, so why introduced damaging canon to the Trek universe only to 'fix it' now?

I'm annoyed with the 'Enterprise' Vulcans, and I don't think they'll be able to change my feelings, or countless others, on that.

I am...
