The Undead Heresy |

Heed this message!
Upon the island of Avry a plague is growing. The Undead are multiplying under the Necromancer Amandil the Cursed. They seek to blot out the light, to end life as it is! I call upon all faithful to find their faith and give what support they can to the Holy Church of Selome, be it their gold or their service on the field of judgement when that day comes, and it shall.
I would ask that the High Council of Eden hear our plea, allow two lowly Divines to bring a petition of this evil before you. We carry with us one who may be impure and will present him.
We can dam the river before the flood damns us all.
Eldred Deschain, Divine of Selome. |

The Maiden Wave, Destroyed |

It has been discovered by the single surviving crew-mate Onadris of The Maiden Wave, who was sent for reinforcements from a near-by settlement on the island of Avry, the once great ship, now lies splintered in two, all of it's crew lay dead upon the sand, all killed by what appear to be several volleys of crossbow fire.
"The Blood Cap" Is all Onadris could say, and is all he is saying to this day. No one in the battle, except for what appeared to be the dwarven assailants, survived.
The only clue we have is that of a small parchment, found on one of the dwarves, apparently a captain, as an unlegible letter signed by Amandil The Great. The only legible portion would point us in the direction of the Island of Serg, where god knows what will happen. |

Warring Tribes |

Karibou and Viper tribes have been reported to be at a severe state of hatred between each other.
Many have been killed on both sides. Small skirmishes pop up every where you find the two warring states in the same area.
Most renound for their peace and non-hostile nature, the Karibou wish to back out but feel as long as the Viper's persist in their attacks they will have no qualms with attacking right back with force if need be.
Otherwise the biggest tribe on Fargus, this warring clan of men and women have marked the land as their territory for many centuries. They have always been at war with extreme hatred towards the Karibou, and now they mean to settle it, not by peace, but by blood shed.
Is their no men or women out there who can bring peace to these tribes?

Money/Bartering System |

The money and bartering system will work as follows.
All new characters are allowed basic items and weapons depending mostly on their class. Now, to earn more this is what you can do:
-You do start with 20-30 gold (your choice), but once it runs out, you are going to have to find a way to get more (on your own)!
-Random mini quests will pop EVERYWHERE so go on one. At the end (when the quest has been declared completed) an Admin will be notified and they will then tell each person how much gold they get or if they get any items, what they do get.
-STEAL! (You will have to wait for an admin to react to what you do, you can't just steal whatever you want. Never assume you have automatically succeeded in stealing something no matter how mundane it may be). |

A large wooden building stands with it's back against a large forest, only to have another across the road turning this building into its own remote community when people would spend their time here. Ornate carvings inlaid with silver glistened on the sturdy pillars outside that held up the over hanging deck on the second floor. Though, like most other taverns that doubled as stores in Crystal Ether, this one was odd in that, it had a third floor, and even a fourth floor. Such a large standard building was far from the ordinary, but being so far from any village, town, or city it was meant to be a good resting spot for any weary traveler. The owner, Merik offered all he could through what he had. He had an ample amount of weapons, armors, and all sorts of mundane and otherwise useless utensils that someone could possibly find useful.
The first floor was by far the largest of them all, a richly decorated interior with red carpets and moose or deer antlers to adorn the walls, and two giant shimmering gold chandeliers dangling from the ceiling that lit up the dining area as well as the side shop for weapons and armor.
A great long wooden counter that circled around in an oval shape stretched from one side of the building to near the other, looping around with one side full of taps and various other supplies to run the bar/tavern, and the other with a glass case inlaid into the counter showing all sorts of trinkets, gizmos, and the occasional armament or sample piece of an armor.
One man ran the entire place, and was in desperate need of some help, he hardly got any business, and for how much money he poured into the place, he was hoping to get more.
Merk, a tall yet rather rotund man, with long black hair that was slowly falling from his head and a faded beard that hung down to the middle of his gut with a few patches of slop here and there, was hunched over behind a long wooden counter which had a few window panes on the front to show what was inside. He looked up and out the circular window just above the main door to see what time of day it was, and judging by what he could see, he would have ventured a guess at about late afternoon, early evening. He stood up slowly and with a rather heavy step walked around the counter and trotted over towards the door, the floor creaking and cracking all along the way. He pulled open the door and peered out to see that it was still only midmorning and the road was near to empty except a few wolves meandering around within the brush on the far side. He jabbed his hand out in defeat of his still inept ability to tell what time of day it was, but he supposed as long as today brought some business, it wouldn't be so bad.
He strode back in leaving the door wide open for any to come in if they want. Plunked himself down at his stool behind the counter and started to play around with one of the many gizmos his Gnome friend had made for him, hoping it would at least provide a little amusement throughout the day so he didn't get too bored and fall asleep...
