Based off of the new television show on AMC, The Walking Dead is an original and canon character rpg. There has been no outside communication between Georgia, and the rest of the America. Let alone the rest of the world. The first out break of the virus in Georgia happened in January 2010. It began to spread like a wild fire infecting those unlucky people by being attacked. Bitten, or other means of transferring bodily fluids into the living. There is no reports or anything about a cure.
However, there is a safe place. District 10 is a re-establishment located in South Dakota. A 10 foot high wall surrounds the 500 acre safe zone. No geeks can get in and nobody can get out. On the outskirts there are other survivors scattered around the U.S. in a means to fighting off the dead and staying alive. No other reports have been said whether the virus has spread overseas or whether or not America was the last to get it. Your only hope now is to stay together and survive as best as you can. Avoid all cities, Atlanta is not safe anymore. You now must face your worst fears and live among the walking dead.
