Title: A Taste Of Paradise
Description: - Danika -

Percy - September 15, 2010 08:20 PM (GMT)
Percy had done just as planned... the night after he met Danika, a little more than two years after he turned her and she left... he called her, just as she said he should do. Percy called Danika and heard her pretty voice, and they decided upon a date where she'd come to his mansion and they'd have a drink together. He looked forwards to it. Being friends with and living with Natalia was nice, but he missed something in his life... the thing he always missed, love. Someone who'd love him and trust him. He believed he still loved Danika, and it would be nice to have her over. Natalia was not at home tonight, so it was all good. She was so understanding.

The drink had been fixed too. Percy had not really killed much since he turned Danika, because then he'd gone to Asia and learned a lot of things about others and about himself too. How could he save the world if he killed? It happened that he did, still, but that's because he had given into the fact that he was a vampire. It just happened, with his age and all too. Percy knew he could not control the urges and instincts, but he could control himself, if he wanted to. And he did. Especially tonight he had to control the urges, so he did not scare Danika away now he finally got to spend some time with her.

It was half an hour after sunrise, Percy looked in the mirror next to the door in the hall, and decided he was ready. He had showered and put on a light scent, because vampires had such good senses, so he didn't want a strong scent. He was dressed well in black trousers for once, and a white shirt. Black polished shoes, and he had even shaved. Percy thought he looked rather good. Danika would come within the next half hour, and then two hours after sunrise, two young women would ring the doorbell - they were willing blood donors that Percy had paid to come tonight. None of them would be killed, there'd be one for each. Everything would be good. Percy went to put some music on, light chamber music just to be in the background. And then he waited as patiently as he could, for Danika to arrive.

Danika Ellis - September 16, 2010 04:09 AM (GMT)
Danika was actually a bit nervous about going to see Percy. Sure, she had been the one to suggest they get together soon, and she had given him her card to call her, but that didn't make it any easier for her. This was the first time that she and Percy were actually doing something that they planned ahead of time. Usually they just kind of ran into each other in public. Or at least that's how it seemed to her. Whether or not Percy had actually planned on running into her was a matter she wasn't sure about.

He'd called her the night after she had run into him while on duty, the first time she had seen him since waking up a vampire, and they had made plans to meet tonight for drinks at his place. She had been to him place before, but she barely remembered it. She had blocked so much of that night out of her memory...trying to get past what she had become. Then again, she never planned on seeing Percy again. After she had gone back to his place to find it empty, she had resorted to living and adjusting on her own. It wasn't until she ran into him that whatever feelings she had towards him had been rekindled.

She still wasn't quite sure what it was she felt for him. Was it normal for a sire/fledgling to relationship to feel like this? She couldn't deny that there was something between them before he had turned her. Had it escalated now that she was a vampire? Hell, the other night, she could barely keep away from him. So there had to be something there, right?

When the sun finally set, she awoke in her apartment and got ready to go to Percy's, dressing in a simple black dress and heels that were a little flashier than she was used to. She wore her hair down in their natural curls and just a touch of makeup, finding that it wasn't quite necessary now that she was a vampire. Once she was ready, she drove to Percy's mansion, relying on both her memory and senses to get her there.

Parking in his driveway, she made her way out of her car and up the sidewalk to his front door, letting out a breath before knocking. As she stood there waiting for him to answer, a part of her wandered why she was trying so hard to impress him. She was never one to worry about how she looked unless she was doing a job undercover, but for Percy, she felt this need to dress up and look her best. It wasn't like it would have mattered to him, hadn't he already told her that he was in loved with her? And she knew that he'd be just as happy to see her in sweatpants and a t-shirt. Was her subconscious trying to tell her something?

Percy - September 16, 2010 03:34 PM (GMT)
It felt like such a long time before she arrived. Percy had gone to his living room to put some other music on, as he realized that old-fashioned chamber music might not be Danika's style. Maybe he should ask her what she wanted to listen to? He did have a small selection of music cd's to put on. And maybe she'd like that he wanted to hear what she wanted to hear. Yes, it was the right thing to do. He stepped back from the stereo and turned his head as he thought he heard a car out on the road. Soon it was not on the road, but in front of his house. Percy could also sense her, Danika was near. It caused him to smile, he had been looking forwards to this.

Before she was turned, they had met two times. None of those times did she know his real name. He told her when he turned her, but then she didn't want him anyway... back then, that is. Perhaps she wanted him now, that she had actually suggested they spent time together. This would be the first time they'd planned to meet and knew they would see each other, knew they'd spend time together. How could he not look forwards to that? And she was so beautiful. That gorgeous red hair. It was such a contrast to all the blondes he'd loved, and the darkhaired green-eyed males. Danika was different from everyone else he'd been with in so many ways. Not that he'd been with her yet... he'd only kissed her, but naturally he longed for a lot more.

Percy went to stand in the hall for when she made her way up the few steps to knock on his door. And she did that. She was right on the other side. Percy took the few steps over to the door, glanced one last time in the mirror and liked what he saw - and then he opened the door. She was beautiful, even seemed to have dressed up for Percy too. He smiled at her, "Danika... it's very good to see you." Percy said elegantly and stepped aside to let her in. Sure he wanted to kiss her or just hug her, but he figured he might be going too fast like that. So he just let her inside. "I hope it wasn't hard to find my mansion again." He added just to keep a conversation going. Sometimes, Percy didn't know what to say, and other times he was perfectly polite, a good old-fashioned gentleman who knew his way around the world. He felt like that tonight.

Danika Ellis - September 17, 2010 07:15 PM (GMT)
Danika had survived over 2 years I without Percy in her life.  She had taught herself enough that she could function regularly in society without getting herself killed, but there was also a lot she didn't know about being a vampire.  Now that she and Percy had been reunited and she had (for the most part) forgiven him for turning her, she hoped that he could teach her more.  They didn't really have much when it came to a sire-fledgling relationship, but tonight would be the start of a new chapter.  They were going to spend time together, and not just meeting at the bar or in the street.  She was heading to his place for the night, they were going to have drinks and see what else might happen.  Honestly, she didn't know what might happen.  They would see where the night would take them.

She found her way to his place and made it to the front door, waiting for him to answer.  She could sense him moving around inside, knowing that he was near the door when he opened it.  There was a smile on her face the moment she saw him, her gaze wandering over him and taking everything in.  He looked so nice, all dressed up.  She was glad she had worn that dress for him.  "It's good to see you too, Percy," she grinned as she walked inside, memories of the last time she was in his home flooding her mind.

Waiting for him to shut the door, she looked around, taking it all in. "I found it without a problem. I suppose it's just easy to sense you when I actually try." Turning to look at him, she stepped forward to close the distance, giving him a light kiss on the cheek. "Your mansion is even more lovely than I remember."

Percy - September 17, 2010 07:44 PM (GMT)
Percy didn't know if he was going to teach her more about being a vampire. He just knew he wanted to spend time with her, get to know her, get closer to her. Get much closer to her, if he could, but of course he didn't know if he could yet. He had just dressed up for her and was happy she was coming, the drinks would be here in an hour - after she'd knocked on the door - and all would be well. How was he to know that she rarely fed from living human beings, if she ever did, that is? Percy just assumed that that's what she did, because she was a vampire and that was an urge vampires had. He remembered when Shayne first woke as a vampire, and he was both shocked but also so excited. And he wanted real blood. Why shouldn't Danika want the same?

She looked absolutely stunning in her outfit when he opened the door, and by the way she looked at him and grinned, it would seem she liked how he looked too. Percy knew it was a good choice. For once not wearing ordinary jeans and a polo-shirt, but actual black trousers and a ironed white shirt. She was beautiful when she grinned and said it was good to see him too, and he let her inside while commenting on her finding her way to his mansion.

He smiled at her words, "It's really not that hard, if you really want to sense someone. Especially one of your own blood." Percy explained to her, and then she had suddenly turned and kissed his cheek before he had even realized what she was up to. That felt nice. The feeling of her soft cool lips lingered on his freshly shaved cheek. Danika then complimented his mansion, "You probably don't remember much, do you?" Percy said, the smile fading a little from his face. He didn't like to linger on that night, it wasn't a good memory to her. "Do you want me to show you around? Or should we just go and sit down? I thought you might want to pick some music we could listen to." Percy said and gestured towards the door that led from the hall to the living room.

Danika Ellis - September 20, 2010 08:28 PM (GMT)
Danika rarely used her vampire abilities knowingly. Sure, there were the few occasions that she took advantage of her speed during a chase or picked up on a faint scent at a crime scene, but for the most part, she did things as normally as any other cop would. Relaying solely on her senses to get her to Percy's had been something new for her, and to be honest, she kind of liked it. She did remember the area a bit, but mostly, it was like she was on autopilot...just making turns when she needed to because that was what her senses were telling her. Thankfully, her senses had done the job and gotten her to Percy's where she was now standing inside.

He looked good. Even before he had turned her, she had found him attractive...and then everything happened between them. After not seeing him for 2 years, there was still an attraction there, though she didn't know whether it was because he was her sire or because she actually felt something for him. He had told her that he felt something for her...but she was much slower to address her feelings. She didn't know if she loved him like he loved her, but she was willing to let things take their course. After all, she hadn't expected their reunion to go the way it did after she left him the night she was turned. She never thought she'd be kissing him and meeting him for drinks, but here she was, standing in his mansion having just greeted him with a kiss.

His mansion was a lot more beautiful than she remembered, though she didn't remember much from the night she woke up. She didn't really take the time to look around when she left. She never wanted to see Percy again at that point. She shook her head when he asked if she remembered much, "Not at all. Everything from that night is so fuzzy...and I don't really want to try to remember it," she was serious for a moment before a small smile returned to her lips. He asked her whether he wanted him to show her around or sit down and she thought for a moment. "Well...the only time I listen to music is when I work out. And usually then it's something that gets me pumped up. So I'm sure whatever you chose is fine. And we have all night for you to show me around," she smiled as her hand found his and waited for him to lead her into the living room area.

Percy - September 20, 2010 09:02 PM (GMT)
Back when Percy had just turned Shayne, it was all so different. The youth had not been madly upset when he was turned, he was more excited, and somehow... Percy had known what to do with a fledgling, at least in the beginning. He'd shown him how to use his senses, how to feed properly, how to entrance, all that basic stuff. Danika... wasn't like that at all. She left and he had not seen her again until earlier this week, years later. Still he didn't know if he had more to teach her, but he would definitely love to. Percy loved to 'be there' for people, he loved it when they trusted him and cared about him. And when he cared about them too, and could show it. So it was good Danika was here. Hopefully she'd come to a better understanding about who he was, they'd get to know each other better, maybe she'd like him even more?

One could only hope, when she looked so beautiful in her dress and with her beautiful dark red hair and everything. So far, there'd been no real kissing. She had however kissed his cheek, and it almost felt like the kiss just lingered there, it stayed and Percy did not want to let it go. Danika had also complimented on his mansion though, and Percy pointed out how she probably did not remember much. His smile faded slightly, and she seemed to grow more serious too. As she pointed out she didn't want to try and remember it either. Then they should just not talk about it. So Percy suggested to show her around or listen to music or something.

Danika smiled again, and said she didn't listen to a lot of music - he should just put something on. And then... then she added that they had all night. Percy liked that. All night. Her hand slid into his, "Yes... we have all night. You're welcome to stay for as long as you like." Percy replied to her and led her into the modern looking luxurious living room. He gave her a small fond smile and let go of her hand to go and put on some music. He looked through some discs and then put on one with Frank Sinatra - starting with Strangers In The Night on the cd. He didn't turn it up too loud, but enough to have the music there but for them to talk too. Then Percy turned to Danika and smiled again, the song almost made him feel like dancing with her, but he wasn't sure if that was overstepping anything. Their relationship was so fragile, he thought, and he didn't want to ruin anything. "Do you want to sit... or... do something else?" Percy asked slowly, it would be easy to tell that he would rather do something else, but was letting it be up to her.

Danika Ellis - September 22, 2010 03:37 AM (GMT)
If you would have told her 3 weeks ago that she would be on speaking terms with Percy right now, she would have laughed in your face. She never expected things to go this way. In fact...she never intended on seeing her sire again. He had left shortly after she was turned, and she was so used to life without him, that she had grown used to not sensing him. She didn't even know that he had returned to London until they had run into each other the other night. She wasn't sure if that was by chance or if it was her senses taking control, but looking back, she was glad that she had found him.

Things between them were going so much better than she imagined. Were they the best of friends? Of course not, but she could tolerate him. Okay...so she could more than tolerate him. She kind of liked him. A lot. And he was growing on her every moment they spent together. Like tonight. She'd come to his place for a drink and greeting him with a kiss on the cheek just seemed like the natural thing to do. She didn't really think about it, nor had she thought about more. When it came to Percy, she was quickly learning to just do whatever she felt at the moment. There was no use in denying something...he'd get it out of her anyways. And there was no need to force things. He knew where she stood on their relationship.

He had suggested they go sit down and asked if she wanted to choose some music, but she told him he could pick. He knew his selection much better than her, and really, the kind of music she listened to while working out wasn't really appropriate for this sort of situation. She took his hand and allowed him to lead her to the living area, taking the chance to look around while he walked over to find a CD. She closed her eyes for a moment when the music began to play, recognizing the song immediately. She grew up listening to music greats like Frank Sinatra and Judy Garland. Her mother worked on Broadway, after all.

Smiling to herself, she opened her eyes again to look at Percy, finding the song very easy to relate to their relationship. He asked if she wanted to sit or do something else, making it way too easy for her to get that he wanted to do something else. While her mind went through a few ideas as to what 'something else' might be, she found herself starting towards him. "Something else?" She raised an eyebrow, watching him with curiosity as she waited for his answer to what he had in mind.

Percy - September 22, 2010 07:14 AM (GMT)
Percy had no idea he'd be meeting Danika again, but he did not regret a thing. Meeting her again, seeing her... it brought it all back, what he began to feel for her more than two years ago. And to think that the first reason why he stalked her, was just to get a bite. Then they got to talk, and look at them now - she was his fledgling, he was her sire, they shared blood and obviously also some thoughts. They knew that years ago already, they weren't so different after all. And now they were here, in his living room in his mansion, she had come to visit him and he wanted to make the evening perfect for her if he could. He was doing his best, he thought, all while also being careful to not overstep her limits, so he'd ruin what was beginning.

So he even asked her to pick the music they'd listen to, but no, Danika wanted him to pick something. Percy let go of her hand to and pick something, and decided on a cd with Frank Sinatra. It might be a little old, and she was a young woman, it might not be her style... but it seemed right. He started it with a very special song he thought fit them, and when he turned, she had her eyes closed with a smile upon her face. So beautiful. Percy just wanted to go and kiss her. And dance with her, this music would be good for that. A slow dance with her head resting against his chest, and his arms around her. Percy could be terribly romantic sometimes.

For now though, he asked what she wanted to do, this was her evening. Danika moved towards him, wondering what the something else he suggested could be. Percy smiled and made an old-fashioned and very elegant bow to her, with a hand on his back and the other under his front, "May I have the pleasure of dancing with you, Danika?" He asked as he rose and stretched a hand towards her. If she took it, he'd pull her closer and to the area behind the leather couch where there'd be more space for dancing. Any woman liked to be treated elegantly like that, even in present times.

Danika Ellis - September 25, 2010 04:53 AM (GMT)
Danika couldn't help but think about how well things were going so far. She had only been at Percy's for a short time, but she was already really comfortable with being with him. It just felt so right to be there. She couldn't really explain why, but being with Percy was comforting on some level. Especially after being so used to being alone over the past 6 years. Not that she didn't enjoy being alone. She preferred being along. She didn't have a partner for a reason. Then again, everything might be different if she had a partner...she might never have met Percy or gone on the chase that ultimately lead to her death.

Looking back it was stupid for her to think she was invincible, but she couldn't change any of that now. So she learned to adapt to her new life and part of that meant having a relationship with Percy. They were forever bonded no matter what, so she should make the best of it. Especially with him professing his love for her the other night and the growing attraction for him she couldn't deny. Even now as they stood in his living room, she found herself moving closer to him, like he was some sort of magnet.

He'd put on some music, a nice slow song. One she recognized as Frank Sinatra. Strangers in the Night. It fit them so well when you thought about how things came to be between them. Percy asked if she wanted to sit down or do something else, which had her curious as to what else he had in mind. She watched him bow, asking her to dance, the same smile she seemed to wear a lot in his presence still on her face. She took his hand when he reached it out to her, closing the distance between them as he pulled her closer and led her to a more open area. Her free hand found it's way to his side, gently resting it there until she found herself in a comfortable position, following his lead as they began to dance, her eyes watching his face as they moved.

Percy - September 25, 2010 07:41 AM (GMT)
Percy liked that things were going so well - it's how he wanted them to go. He had not had a steady lover for more than two years, and that was a very long time for someone like Percy. He had fallen in love with Danika, turned her to save her life, and then she hated him and left. And to think that in the year 2009 he had so many loves... Ellie, Shayne, Faith, then Shayne again... and then he met Danika. Now he'd had more than two years with himself, with random lovers especially in Asia, but there hadn't been any since he returned back to England. Now he had Danika here, of course he hoped for more, but he would try to not push it too much. Just take things as they came, if he could. He was much better at that now, to have patience. Percy believed that he could once more control himself.

They were in the living room now, taking it easy, he put on some music that they both seemed to enjoy. He asked what to do, had an idea obviously, and Danika wished to know. Was it awkward, that he did what he did? Not to Percy really, this was the way he had done for centuries, the way he had been brought up... to bow and be polite and elegant when asking a lady to dance. When he rose and had his hand stretched towards her, Danika took it and closed the distance between them, while Percy also tugged gently at her to take her to a more open area of the living room.

Her hand rested on his side, and Percy let go of her hand to put his arms more around her too. He led the dance gently, it wasn't a fast song after all, and looked down at her. Look at her eyes, to him they seemed to sparkle and he could just get himself lost in them, "I'm so glad you're here." Percy said to her in a soft tone, didn't want to ruin the mood, "You really do look so beautiful." He added, couldn't help it, it's what he felt and it was true. Think that he was so lucky to have her right here in his arms again, alive and his fledgling and she didn't mind his company. He'd keep on dancing with her right until their drinks arrived, if she'd let him.

Danika Ellis - September 26, 2010 04:39 AM (GMT)
Percy was such a gentleman. He was like something out of an old movie...or perhaps a musical. He was essentially everything that every woman dreamed of. Tall, handsome, strong. He had manners, and he knew how to treat a woman. She imagined that Percy had women falling at his feet, yet he wanted her. He told her that he loved her and that all she needed to do was let him love her. Maybe she would love him. She didn't know yet what she felt towards him. There was something there, but she didn't know if it was love. She had never been in love before. Hell, she had never been so attracted to someone before, so all of this was new to her and she didn't really understand it.

But she was willing to try to make sense of it. He put on slow music and asked her to dance, moving them to an open part of the living room so that they had more room. His hands found their way around her waist while hers moved up his sides and around his neck, holding him loosely as he lead. Their gazes met and for a while, they just stared at each other, until Percy broke the silence between them, telling her how glad he was she was there and calling her beautiful. "Thank you," she said softly, her fingers idly running over the back of his neck. "You look very handsome yourself," she smiled, leaning up to give him a brief kiss before pulling herself closer and leaning her head against his chest. She inhaled his scent, closing her eyes and allowing herself to get lost in the moment, not even finding it weird that he didn't have a heartbeat.

She didn't know how much time had passed or how many songs had played, and she probably could have danced with him all night had it not been for the knock on the door that suddenly pulled her back to reality. Lifting her head to look up at him, she furrowed her brow, having been able to hear the heartbeats of the mortals standing outside. "Expecting company?" She didn't let go of him just yet, not wanting the moment to end, though it seemed that their dance would be ending for now.

Percy - September 26, 2010 06:18 PM (GMT)
Percy could indeed be such a gentleman, if he felt like it. He wasn't always, not anymore, but he felt like it now... for Danika's sake. After all, he had been brought up well and he hadn't forgotten it. Percy was not that old yet. And he was just happy to please Danika, because he was sure that he was still in love with her, just as he had been two years ago. She was something special, literally. Percy had a thing with falling for pretty blondes before, and then there were the young males with green eyes and dark hair. But Danika was nothing like them, she was her own woman, independent and all in a way none of them had been. Percy had never been in love with a woman like her before, and maybe that's why he was?

They were now dancing to good old and nice music, and her hands were on his side and around his neck. She was so beautiful to look down upon he thought, and he had to tell her what he felt. That he was glad she was here, that she was beautiful. The way she caressed his neck when she thanked him and complimented him... and then kissed him. Percy smiled and let her lean her head on his chest, this was a nice and calm moment, and they'd just be. He held her, they were moving their feet slowly to the music, it was just... just how he wanted it to be with her. She felt so good to hold.

But they were interrupted when time had suddenly gone, and there was a knock on the front door. At first he didn't understand, but when Danika also pulled back and asked, he remembered. Two heartbeats, mortals. Percy nodded to her, "Yes... we did plan on having a drink together, right? Our kind, we do need to feed too, after all." Percy said with a smile and dared to press a soft kiss to her lips, "I'll go open the door. Can you turn down the music a little while I do?" He asked and gently let go of her waist. It all seemed so natural to him, of course they were going to have drinks and of course those drinks were alive. And would still be after. Percy gave her a smile and headed out to open the door.

The drinks were two young women, around the age of 20, and by the way they stood together, he thought they'd be friends or something, who did this together. They looked him over when he opened the door, and Percy shook his head at them, "I've already got company. All we need is a bite." He told them, he had called that 'willing blood donor' agency, so they were even paid for, these drinks. They stepped inside and he gestured towards the door to the living room, following them in there and smiling once more when he saw Danika, not knowing that she usually didn't feed directly from people at all.

Danika Ellis - September 26, 2010 09:07 PM (GMT)
Being with Percy felt so right. Like she was meant to be in his arms. It was such an odd thing for her to understand. Everything in her life had always been so concrete until she had met Percy...there was always had a perfectly reasonable explanation. Until now. She didn't know what she felt towards Percy, or why she felt it, and a part of her hated not knowing. But since becoming a vampire, she had started to just accept things because there was no use in fighting the inevitable. And perhaps falling in love with Percy was inevitable?

She could stand in his arms for hours and dance, like this, and for a while, that was what they did. The moment seemed to last forever...or until there was a knock on the door. She was a bit confused at first, being able to hear the heartbeats of two women...around her age, if she could sense correctly. She asked if he was expecting company...perhaps they were just at the wrong place or something. But then he reminded her that they were planning on having a drink together and asked her to turn down the music while he answered the door. She stood there for a moment after he kissed her, unsure of what to do. Wait....they were having live drinks? No way. She had never drank from someone before.

She slowly turned on her heel to watch him move towards the door, her eyes wide. If her heart could still beat, it would be going out of her chest right now. Once he disappeared from sight, she slowly walked towards the stereo to turn the music down, standing there just blankly staring at the entrance where he'd be bringing the girls in. She was torn right now. She hadn't fed yet tonight, knowing that she and Percy would be having drinks, but had she known it was going to be from a human, she never would have agreed. She didn't want to drink from these girls, but being so young, it was hard to control the hunger that was growing with each beat of their hearts.

She felt her fangs grown once they came around the corner, not returning Percy's smile as she watched them. She was going to be sick. She couldn't feed from someone. But they were so tempting. Damnit, Percy! She turned back towards the stereo, avoiding Percy for the moment. "Percy...I've never drank from someone before. I can't do this."

Percy - September 26, 2010 09:23 PM (GMT)
Percy certainly thought that being with Danika felt right too. But though they could probably have kept doing what they were doing all night, there had already been made plans. Percy had called for them last night in fact, they should appear around 2 hours after sunset so that he and Danika could have their drinks, just as planned. He had invited her for it, and Percy liked to believe he was a man who kept his word. He had requested for someone young so they had a lot of life left, and wouldn't be so week after being fed upon. How could he know that Danika did not feed on living prey? She left him the night she was turned, and he had not been there to teach her anything about feeding. And Shayne had been so bloodhungering when he woke back then, so why shouldn't Danika have been the same?

He reacted as if it was all natural and fine, because really to him it was. Percy was also shortly confused by the knock on the door, but that's only because he was so lost in the dance and holding Danika - but he quickly returned to his own self, and spoke of the drinks. He asked if she'd turn down the music a little while he went to get the door. And then he even kissed her. Oh life would be so perfect if she'd be with him, and they would do this every night. Percy longed for something that looked like a 'normal' life. He'd tried to get it more than once, but had failed so far. Maybe with Danika, there was a chance...

The two young women looked him over and obviously hoped he'd do more than just bite, but Percy let them know he would not. He had dressed up for Danika, not for them. He led them to the living room, where Danika stood turned to the stero and said she'd never had a drink from someone before. Percy stopped and slid in between the two young mortals, "Wait here a moment." He asked them politely with a hand on each their backs for reassurance, and then he slid over to Danika, standing as much beside her as he could, "You've never done this before?" He asked, obviously surprised... "Then I'd say it's about time. You should at least try it." Percy said, his voice soft, "I promise you won't regret it. And we won't kill. I've not killed since I turned you..."

Danika Ellis - September 27, 2010 07:43 PM (GMT)
The evening was going perfectly. There was definitely a something buzzing between them, and it seem as they would act on whatever it was, dancing with each other to some classic Frank Sinatra. She'd gotten so lost in his arms, she wanted to stay there all night, but they had been interrupted when their drinks had arrived. Danika definitely didn't feel comfortable feeding from a live person. Ever since the night she was turned, she had been feeding from pints of blood she had stored in her fridge. It might be a bit surprising that she hadn't gone off and killed someone her first night as a vampire, but she had impeccable self control.

Self control that she could already feel slipping when the girls came into the living room. Had she known this was what Percy meant, she never would have agreed, or she would have fed at home. But being so young and having yet to feed this evening, the girls tempted her with every beat of their heart causing her fangs to lengthen on their own. She told Percy that she couldn't do this, turning away from him, as if she was ashamed that she was showing a sign of weakness.

He'd moved over towards her, she could feel him nearing before he slid in beside her. When he questioned her, she looked back to him again, shaking her head. No. She had never fed from someone before and she really didn't want to. "I don't want to try it," she glanced over his shoulder to the girls, who looked way too comfortable with the situation. She be lying if she said she didn't know why they were so willing. She remembered very clearly the night Percy bit her and how good it had felt, even if she'd never admit it out loud. Still...biting human flesh? It sounded so barbaric. And what if she hurt one of them? Her job was to protect people. Not hurt them. "I can't do it," she shook her head again, looking back to him again. Having been so lost in the moment with him, she hadn't even realized how hungry she was, but now that these two women stood there, it was gnawing at her, burning her throat, practically begging her to take a drink.

Percy - September 27, 2010 07:57 PM (GMT)
To Percy, the evening was still going somewhat perfectly. He had danced with Danika, he had kissed her more than once, he had held her in his arms. And it had been so romantic and felt so right. When the drinks arrived and he went to get the door, and asked her to turn down the music, it almost felt like it could be an everyday (or night) thing with them. So natural... at least that's how it felt like to him, when it happened. So when he returned with the girls and Danika stood there and said she could not do it, that she'd never fed like that before... of course he was surprised to hear it. She had honestly seriously never fed like this before? Percy somehow felt it wrong... when he knew you could feed without killing and had done that most of his life actually. There had been a period of time, little over a half year, where he'd killed too often. But besides that, he'd not done it much. And not during the last few years.

So he slid over to her, standing near her and speaking of how it was about time if she never fed like that before. Told her they'd not kill, told her once more how he'd not killed because of her. Danika claimed she didn't want to try, all while looking at the two girls standing there just inside the doorway to the living room. Percy glanced to them too... look at how fine they were, young and perfect. He'd give the blonde to Danika, Percy really tried to not feed on blondes, because it had gone so badly with them before. But Danika said she could not do it. Percy looked at her again, reaching out to her with his senses... and he found what he thought he'd find. Hunger.

"You do want to try it, Danika." He said and put a hand on her shoulder, turning her a bit more to face him, "You can't hide it from me... you're hungry and you need blood. You need to drink... and you want to." Percy said and looked over at the girls again, feeling his own hunger rise too. Danika had to do this... so he bit his own hunger back, he had to convince her first, "You won't hurt them... do you remember how I bit you? And how I healed you?" He asked, "I'll teach you how to not kill, and how to do it so they'll even like it. As your sire, it's actually my duty to teach you such a thing. I promise you that you won't regret it." He gave her a small smile and pushed a little hair out of her face and behind her ear, looking to her eyes, "Just give in. Just once."

Danika Ellis - September 27, 2010 09:22 PM (GMT)
Percy had been such a perfect gentleman before this moment. He'd dressed elegantly and treated her the way a woman should be treated. He asked her to dance, even bowing like they did during his time, and she had found herself caught up in it all. But now...now he didn't seem like such a gentleman. Sure, it was very gentlemanly to get them drinks for the evening, but he should have respected her wish to not drink from the mortals. But instead of letting it go, he continued to push her, telling her that it was time for her to try it and that she wouldn't regret it. And while his temptation was working thanks to the growing hunger inside of her, her morals were still fighting hard.

She told him that she didn't want to feed from them, but he knew better. He was older and being her sire, he could sense thing from her. And one of the things he could sense was her hunger. He continued to try to talk her into it, telling her how he knew she was hungry...she couldn't hide it from him and that she needed to drink. He knew she wanted to. Yes, she did want to. But that didn't mean she'd do it. T here were a lot of things she wanted. That didn't mean she got them. Her gaze followed his to the girls, absentmindedly licking her lips as she looked them over. He reminded her that it was his duty as a sire to teach her how to feed and that she wouldn't hurt them, even promising her that she wouldn't regret it.

When he pushed the hair from her face, she closed her eyes, trying to fight both the hunger tearing at her inside and the growing desire for him. Between her lust for him and her lust for the girls' blood, it was hard to make a rational decision. The line between the two blurred so easily, one could get confused by their feelings. And that was exactly what was happening to her right now. Opening her eyes again, her gaze locked with his as Percy egged her to give in just this once. Listen to him...that voice, so smooth and confident. He knew he'd get her to do it. Just like he had gotten her to let him bite her. She could fight all she wanted, but in the end, could she really resist? "Percy..." she trailed off, her voice shaking as the confidence that was once there began to waiver. "I...." she let out a sigh of defeat, knowing that she couldn't lie to him. She needed to feed...and both Percy and those mortals were too hard to resist.

Percy - September 27, 2010 09:33 PM (GMT)
Did he know before tonight, that she had a wish to not drink from mortals? No, he didn't know that, and now the girls were here. They were even paid for, and Percy just knew they'd taste good. Standing there hand in hand, two good friends who were in on this together, probably still regretting that Percy already had female company. If he didn't, well things could have gone differently, but then he might not have called for them and then everything would have looked different. They were here however, and so was Danika. And Danika... he knew she was hungry. He saw the look in her eyes when she glanced to the girls, he easily sensed her hunger for blood even if she claimed she didn't want to feed from them. Of course she did. She had instincts, just like Percy did. And he believed he could handle hers, even if there'd been a time where he could not even handle his own.

So he tried his best to persuade her... or, that wasn't really what he tried. He just tried to tell her why she should drink from them, because really, it was no big deal and not something that would be a problem for them or her. The girls... this was their job, probably. This was how they got their money, selling their blood willingly to vampires. Letting vampires bite them, and they'd want it too. So there was absolutely nothing wrong, and Percy let her know he'd teach her how to not hurt, how they might even like it. When he'd glanced shortly to the mortals and then to her, he did see her tongue lick her lips and caught a glimpse of her extended fangs. God did she know how sexy she looked with those? Maybe after they'd had their drinks... he'd let her bite him...

Percy told himself to cool down, and focus on Danika and the drinking again. Pushing hair from her face, telling her to just give in this once. He could sense her hunger... and knew all kinds of hunger was rising in her too. This had to be good. Their eyes met and she spoke his name, but couldn't get herself to say one more time that she wouldn't do it. Percy gently took her hand and led her to the couch, indicated that she should sit - then looked to the girls and waved them over. "Now... do you want to feed first, or should I do it and show you? I'll guide you no matter what." Percy said to Danika, sitting down on the couch next to her. The humans stood there near them by the end of the couch, impatient for what was about to happen - they wanted it too.

Danika Ellis - September 28, 2010 02:41 AM (GMT)
Danika knew how hard it was to resist Percy. She had tried the night they met when he bit her. And she tried the night they had kissed outside that bar. And now here she was, trying to resist feeding from a mortal. There was just something about Percy that always got her to give in. It was so frustrating. All she wanted was for him to lay off the feeding thing. She could even go home and feed and come right back by the time he finished feeding. That would work right? Unfortunately, she never got to tell him her idea. He knew she was hungry and he knew she wanted to feed. And maybe, just maybe he knew how hard it was getting for her to keep saying no to him.

He'd told her would teach her how to feed so that it wouldn't hurt the women...in fact, it might even feel good to them. It had felt good when he bit her, so she knew it was possible. She just...didn't want to bite someone. It wasn't what she did. Yet in the end he had won. How was she supposed to fight the hunger? She was a strong girl. She had been strong as a mortal and it had carried over when she became a vampire, but hunger was inevitable. And in the end it would always win. Whatever morals she had would never be as strong as her natural instinct as a vampire. And that was to feed on blood.

It hadn't helped that Percy had been the one trying to get her to do it. She was already losing sight of where the hunger for blood ended and the hunger for him started. And maybe that had been a factor in it, but in the long run, she gave in. No longer able to tell him 'no,' Percy pulled her to the couch, telling her to sit down, which she did, watching him as he called them over. Despite the gnawing hunger and what instinct was telling her, she was nervous. But at least Percy was going to help her though this. When the girls got closer, their heartbeats pounded in her head, nearly drowning out everything else in the room until she closed her eyes and concentrated on pushing it away. Getting her head clear again, she looked to Percy as he sat down beside her, asking how she wanted to do this. She thought for a moment, unsure if she'd be able to handle watching him feed first, but choosing to take that route. She was a visual learned. If she watched him do it, she'd get a better understanding for what she was supposed to do. "You go first," she said nervously, looking up at the girls, who were practically shaking with anticipation. Really they should be getting scared. What if she couldn't stop. What if she killed them both? This is why blood bags were safer.

Percy - September 28, 2010 07:06 AM (GMT)
It was getting a bit hard for Percy to stay focused. Danika did this to him, no one but Danika. For two years there'd been no troubles for him, Percy had not killed and he had become better and better at controlling himself. He'd spoken to wise old men in Asia and he had learned things about himself and how to control himself. But now with Danika, just seeing her lick her lips and just seeing her fangs and the bloodlusting look in her eyes... oh it made him want to lose himself completely. But he couldn't do that now, Danika had apparently never fed from a human being, and he was going to teach her. It was such an odd thought to him, to not feed like he did, he'd always done that. That was just how it was done.

At least she had agreed to do it, or rather, she had stopped disagreeing. Percy decided that was enough and led her to the couch. He made her sit and then called the mortals, their meals, over. Of course Danika was nervous, why shouldn't she be? If she'd never done it before. But then it was also about time, he thought. Percy sat down next to her and asked if she wanted to feed first, or if he should do it. Danika wanted Percy to go first, and he nodded, "I'll do that then." Percy said and reached out a hand, ran it down over her cheek, this was so different from when he taught his first fledgling how to feed. Shayne had been a natural. Danika was clearly far from it. "Just try to relax." He asked her, and leaned over to give her a short soft kiss.

When he leaned back again, he looked at the girls. He'd not bite the blonde, and his eyes fell on the girl with the light brown hair, "Come." He said and slid a bit away from Danika on the couch. Slid over to a corner where he could lean back, and the girl sat in front of him, back leaned against his. He could hear her blood race, her heart pound in that anticipating way. Percy put an arm around her and tugged her closer, and then he used his other hand to push hair away from the left side of her neck. The girl wasn't very nervous, that wasn't why her heart was pounding. Like many other mortals who did this as their job, she was addicted to the bite. Percy leaned his head down and pressed soft kisses to her neck - she wore a top with a very low cut neckline so she had bare shoulders. Plenty of space to bite on. And then he let his fangs sink through. The girl moaned by the feeling, and Percy sighed into the bite before he began drinking for real.

He took some... it took a few minutes perhaps. The girl lay there with her eyes closed and one hand holding Percy's arm that was around her. She tasted good, Percy thought, but it was not the best blood he'd tasted. Danika's had been sweeter. He'd never had her blood as a vampire. How would it taste now? Inwardly he told himself to cool down and pulled back from the bite. Opened his eyes and looked at Danika. Without a word he lifted a finger to bite it, and dripped blood onto the wound he just made on the mortal. He smeared it out and it healed. Percy made sure to not do it fast, so Danika could see how it worked. Then he focused on the girl again, "Thank you." He said to her, and her eyes fluttered open with a small smile as she turned to look at him, "Thank you too." She said, but Percy shook his head with a smile. The girl rose and went to sit in another chair, reached for her bag to get a bottle of water she had. Meanwhile Percy looked at Danika, "Now it's your turn."

Danika Ellis - September 29, 2010 11:02 PM (GMT)
Danika still didn't think she wanted to bite one of these girls, but with the growing lust for blood inside of her and Percy pushing her to do it, she couldn't say no. He pulled her to the couch and called the girls over, their closeness once again teasing Danika. She tensed up just a bit to fight the sudden urge to just jump them and take their blood, deciding that Percy should feed first so that he could show her the right way to do it. She just hoped she'd make it that long. She didn't remember the bloodlust being this bad. Even the night she woke up it hadn't felt like this...perhaps it was partially because she had been so distracted with everything else going on that night. But right now...she could feel her control slipping and it terrified her.

It was Percy's kiss that managed to calm her down, his lips finding hers for a brief moment, his hand caressing her cheek. She closed her eyes and pushed it all away again, having stopped breathing so that their scents wouldn't tease her. It wasn't like she needed to breathe anyways, it was just a natural reflex, something that carried over from her mortal life.

Feeling Percy move away, she opened her eyes again, watching the scene play out before her, making mental notes for what to do. A part of her felt jealous when he kissed the brunette's neck, but that all went away when he bit the girl and the scent of her blood flooded her senses. Her eyes grew wider as she watched Percy, sitting perfectly still, her throat burning harder than ever, she gripped her thighs, biting down on her own lip to contain herself. It wasn't until Percy healed the girl's wound that she finally moved, relaxing just slightly when he looked to her and told her it was her turn. "Okay," she breathed, nodding her head a bit.

Looking up to the blonde, she smiled, careful not to let her fangs show. They had been out for such a long time now, and she knew the girl knew what she was, but she still didn't feel comfortable with flashing her fangs around. "Ready?" She asked, moving back against the couch and tucking one leg underneath her so that the girl could sit in front of her. She felt more comfortable doing it in this position. The way Percy had just fed felt a little too intimate for her. Unless of course, it was her....no...stop thinking such thoughts.

Slowly pushing the girl's hair out of the way , she once again closed her eyes, leaning forward towards her neck and inhaling slightly. Her lips parted just a bit, running over the girl's warm skin as she opened her eyes, looking for the perfect place to bite. She could feel what she was doing to the girl as her lips traced her collarbone, her skin growing warmer from the excitement and lust, she could sense her anticipation and how bad she wanted it, but still, she couldn't help but mutter a soft "I'm sorry" before she found a spot and bit in.

The warm blood rushed into her mouth, causing a moan to escape Danika's lips. It was like nothing she had ever tasted, so warm and sweet. She could tasted the desire running through the girl's blood, sense how good it felt for her and for the moment, she allowed herself to get lost in it, closing her eyes and drinking it in. She could have easily drained the girl. It tasted so good, she didn't want to stop, but after a few minutes, she realized what she was doing and what would happen if she didn't stop. She looked to Percy for a second before tearing herself away from the girl, perhaps taking just a little bit more than she should have, watching as a few drops trickled from the girl's wound. Following what Percy did, she bit her own thumb, then spread the blood over the girl's neck, unable to resist leaning in to lick off those stray drops.

Sitting up straight for a moment, she let her thoughts gather, her head swimming for the high the blood had give her. Was it always like that? Drinking from blood packs didn't feel this good. She opened her mouth to thank the girl. but the blonde spoke first, turning to look at Danika with a euphoric smile. "I'm certainly not sorry. Thank you," the girl stood up, waiting for her friend to join her so that they could leave. "No, thank you," Danika smiled back before turning her attention back to Percy. "That was...I don't even know," she chuckled just a bit, in complete disbelief that it felt so good to feed from someone.

Percy - September 30, 2010 06:19 AM (GMT)
Percy 'pushed' Danika into drinking from a live mortal, because everything else just seemed wrong in his head. First, they were predators, and obviously the best for their bodies was the fresh warm blood, else they'd not crave it. Secondly, she had to learn it. Even if she did not feed like that now, there would come a time - if she survived long enough, like Percy - where she wouldn't be able to resist. Thirdly... she wanted it. He had seen her fangs, the way she licked her lips, the hunger in her eyes. He could even sense it. So Danika would just have to do it. Percy went first though, to show her how he did it. He asked her to try and relax, gave her a short kiss and it seemed to somehow work. Danika had closed her eyes for a moment, and he thought about her beauty and grace again, but then focused on what he too needed - the blood.

He called for the girl with the darker hair, who sat down and seemed to know just what to do. Her heart was beating in anticipation, her blood racing with excitement. Percy focused on her for now, leaned down and bit the girl. She obviously enjoyed it, but then again, Percy was skilled in trying to do this in a good way. It had been how he did it for centuries, only now he no longer had to entrance his prey. Now they could all enjoy it. Eventually he was done though, healed her wound and thanked her. She gave him a smile and moved to her own chair, while Percy focused on Danika again. Stating that it was her turn. And to be honest, he could barely wait with seeing it. He'd seen other vampires feed before, and wasn't it almost always a sexy sight?

Percy watched the blonde approach Danika and sat down in front of her. Quietly he followed the whole scene, from how Danika inhaled a breath by the girl's neck, searched for a place to bite. And then it would seem her instincts let her know what to do, she bit through and moaned. Yes, it was definitely sexy, just listen to her. And he could see how Danika closed her eyes and just drank... he knew she wouldn't want to kill, so hoped she didn't, and if it came too close then he might have to step in. Luckily Danika's instincts hadn't taken entirely over, and she let go after meeting Percy's eyes. She did as Percy, healed the wound and sat up. Percy smiled at their short conversation, and then he smiled at the girls, "Thanks, both of you. You can find your own way out?" Percy asked and they nodded and headed for the door. He could hear them giggle once they'd closed it behind them, but now it was time for Danika and him alone again.

He scooted closer to her on the couch again and reached for her hand, took it and led it to his lips to kiss it. "If you want to make sure you don't kill, try to focus on the heartbeat while you drink. Never let it slow down too much." Percy informed her, just in case she'd do it on her own sometime. Now to something completely different though, or almost... "But it wasn't bad, was it? And you didn't kill. She even liked it, quite a lot." Percy said to Danika with a smile and a wink, "I'm quite sure I'd like it too, if you bit me... would you like a taste?"

Danika Ellis - October 1, 2010 02:24 AM (GMT)
Feeding from a mortal hadn't been nearly as bad as Danika expected it to be. She had always been fine feeding from blood packs because she knew it was the least dangerous. What if she hurt somebody? She didn't want to think about it. So rather than worry, she just avoided it. The blood packs were sufficient, she was comfortable with them. But tonight she'd feed on a mortal. She was nervous that she would hurt the girl, but once the girl sat down in front of her and she moved in for the bite, it was like someone flicked on a switch and she knew exactly what to do. Her natural vampire instincts took over and she bit the girl, letting out a moan at how good it tasted. There was a moment while she was drinking for the girl that she thought she might not stop. She didn't really want to stop. It tasted so good. But she couldn't kill the girl. She'd never be able to live with herself if she killed someone.

And it was that thought that made her let go of the bit and heal the girl's neck, thanking her and sending her and her friend on their way before turning her attention to Percy. She couldn't even find a way to explain what she had just did...it felt so good and she sensed how Percy seemed to like it too. Okay...so maybe that would be happening more often. Hell, she wasn't sure blood packs would ever suffice after that.

She smiled as Percy moved closer and took her hand, kissing it, giving her a bit more advice for future reference. Right. Listen to the heart. She'd remember that. She'd never want to kill. "It definitely wasn't bad," she grinned, her eyes looking him over as he said that he was sure that he would like it as much as the girl had, then asked if she wanted a taste. Oh, he was so good. She was already aroused and he was going to tempt her like that? "Only if you get a taste too," she moved with the speed of a vampire to straddled his lap on the couch, her fangs extended as she leaned close to his neck. She reached up to pull his head to one side, roughly kissing the delicate skin on his neck before finding a spot and biting down.

Percy - October 1, 2010 06:22 AM (GMT)
Percy knew perfectly well that Danika didn't want to kill. So he would just have to teach her how to feed without doing that. Percy also didn't kill, so it was all very good. They'd fed by now, both of them. It had been very sexy to watch Danika feed, it was after all a sight he never saw before. The only time had been when he turned her and had to make her drink his blood, but that was different. This was a calm setting, with low Frank Sinatra background music in Percy's living room. And now they had fed, Percy had thoughts on his mind. The kinds of thoughts that had entered his mind during the last two years - he'd not been killing, no, but that didn't mean he lived in celibacy too - but now it was... in a way they were different, because it was Danika.

The girls had left Percy and Danika there alone, they were already paid for after all. And now they spoke. Percy slid closer to her on the couch, took her hand, kissed it and told her about how she should listen to the heartbeat when she drank. She told him it wasn't bad, and Percy smiled. It was always good to drink from living beings. He didn't think he'd ever had dead blood from a blood bag, but it definitely also sounded disgusting. No, Percy was a good old-fashioned vampire with all that it included. Though now he'd seen Danika feed, he had almost wished she was biting him and not the girl. So he asked if she'd do that, taste his blood.

It would also make them even closer, but currently that wasn't on his mind at all. Percy just wanted to feel her fangs... Danika said she'd taste him if he tasted her too. And then she'd suddenly moved fast, suddenly she sat straddled on his lap and Percy looked up at her. Wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer. Before he knew it she'd leaned to his neck, and he tilted his head to give her more space. God her lips... and... her fangs... he felt the short sharp pain that quickly turned into a much more pleasurable feeling. Percy let out a moan, closing his eyes for a moment. He'd never felt anything like it! But she wanted him to bite too, though it was almost hard to focus. Why again were they still dressed? He wanted to arch up against her where she sat. Then he moved an arm to take her hair from the neck too, and inhaled her scent... so perfect, so right... "I love you..." Percy whispered before he bit through her perfect skin. It felt good to know that he could bite her and she'd not die. This was different from his last lovers, except for Cora, but she wasn't quite ordinary either... and Danika's blood, it was as divine as the rest of her.

Danika Ellis - October 1, 2010 09:16 PM (GMT)
Ever since she had been turned, Danika had feared her vampire side. She did everything she could to ignore it and for the most part she did. She just wanted to live a normal life, despite her...condition. And then Percy had to come back into the picture. She had certainly felt things for him before she was turned. Even if she'd not admit it to herself. And now with him back in her life, these feelings were resurfacing, only now they were stronger and harder to ignore. Percy was a very attractive man, and he had a certain power over her that she didn't quite understand. He always seemed to get her to give in to him, even when she tried her hardest to deny him. And the worst part about it all was how much she enjoyed it when she gave in. Every time it was like she denied him, but then once she gave in, she realized how great it was to give in. It was so frustrating!

Though right now, she wasn't thinking about it being frustrating, because it had felt so good to drink from that girl. It was such a different experience than blood packs. It was like living on fast food versus having a home cooked meal. It just was that much better. Throw the buzz from that with how she could sense the way it made Percy feel and she was thinking about things she never would on a normal evening.

Like biting Percy. And having him bite her back. She didn't really know what that meant for two vampires to bite each other, but if it meant getting intimate with Percy, she was all for it when he asked. Especially if he was going to bite her back. She was certainly embracing her vampire side for the moment...it just felt so good to let loose right now, really she couldn't stop herself. She moved onto Percy faster than she had probably ever moved before, leaning in to bite him without wasting another minute. And oh, did he taste good. She smiled against his skin when he moaned, nipping him a bit more while she drank, even if she wasn't taking much blood. It was more about the experience for her, being intimate with Percy while sharing his blood. She sighed when he returned the gesture, closing her eyes to take it all in. This quite possibly was better than sex. Though her lack of sexual contact might just be making this a one sided argument.

Pulling away from his neck, she opened her eyes to watch the bite heal, trailing kisses over his collar bone while he finished drinking from her. "I...love...you...too," she told him between kisses, not even realizing she was saying it or sure if she actually meant it.

Percy - October 1, 2010 09:29 PM (GMT)
Percy didn't know he had this power over people... not like this. Even if he'd had it over Shayne too, and Faith, and possibly many others. Possibly even Cora. Percy just wanted them to know how he felt, and he wanted them to feel good too. He didn't want to let them down, and he wanted them to accept how he loved them and cared for them... he wanted them to trust him and feel it back. And it had happened. Percy just didn't know that a big part of it was his own fault, for being the way he was. Think if anyone ever told him about his persuasive skills... would he be able to handle them then? He probably wouldn't believe them. He had made Danika drink from that girl, because he knew it would feel good to her and it would do her body good too.

And it did feel good to her, didn't it? Very good in fact. But Percy couldn't help but expressing the ideas he had while he watched her drink. He'd almost been jealous of the girl, thinking that Danika's perfect sharp fangs would feel so good. So he asked her to bite him, and she'd do it if he bit her back. He wasn't even thinking about how it meant that they'd be bonding. He should have been thinking about it, and he should have told her that it would make their bond even closer, but he just didn't. Danika was on his mind now, and Percy just wanted to feel her.

She was straddling him in no time, and his arms wrapped around her, pulled her closer before she bit him. It felt so good. As good as he thought it would. And he'd only turned Danika because he didn't want her to die... nothing could possibly feel this good if it wasn't the right thing, he thought. It had to be love. So he said that to her, that he loved her, before he bit through and felt her sigh. Yes, this was perfect indeed. That feeling entered him again, the longing to possess her... the entire her... not just her blood... and here he'd just been to Asia, and he had learned techniques with which to control his instincts and desires. Then along came Danika... and he forgot. He should be thinking, he should listen to the alarms ringing in his head, but the taste of Danika's blood was better than listening to alarms.

Danika stopped her bite and he felt her kisses over his collar bone. Percy let go of her too, slowly, but the wound healed just fine. And he heard what she said, that she loved him... "Oh Danika..." Percy whispered, did she know how happy that made him, to know that she loved him? He looked up, tried to look to her face, "You feel so right to me... you make me so happy..." Percy said and moved a hand up to gently pull his fingers through her hair, looking at her as if she was something divine he ought to worship. She was like no one he had ever loved before... and still, she loved him back...

Danika Ellis - October 3, 2010 09:27 PM (GMT)
Danika was getting more intimate with Percy than she ever had with anyone before. Sure, there were those few times that she had seduced people for work, but none of it ever meant anything. Danika had never had feelings for someone before. But Percy was doing a fine job of stirring up those feelings. They had gone from feeding from the girls Percy paid, to feeding from each other in a matter of seconds after the girls left. It was just such an experience, to be so close to him and bite him and have some of his blood, all while he was doing the same to her. She even told him that she loved him, though she hadn't even realized that she said it. She was so caught up in the moment, that the words came out of her mouth between kisses. Damn her subconscious!

She felt him pull away to look at her and she followed, lifting her head from his shoulder to look at him. He told her that she felt so right to him and how happy she made him. He made her happy as well. In some way. RIght now, she liked that she could be herself around him and be comfortable in being a vampire, while normally she tried to hide it. Percy made her feel so much better about what she was and he made her feel beautiful. She wasn't used to getting compliments like the ones he gave her. Normally it was just snarky remarks from the guys at work regarding her using handcuffs on them, or the occasional slap on the ass to which she threatened their lives.

She watched his face while he ran his fingers through her hair, the way he looked at her making her feel even more beautiful. "I've never felt this way about anyone, Percy," she said softly, her hands wandering over his body as she leaned in to kiss him. She wanted him so bad right now...like all the lust from the years of not having sex was building up now. She wanted to rip his clothes off, literally...rip them off piece by piece. Her hands found the button of his pants while they kissed, moving to undo it. "God, I want you," she sighed shifting her position to help him get his pants out of the way.

Percy - October 3, 2010 09:44 PM (GMT)
Percy had been intimate with plenty before Danika. Even recently, back in Asia, he'd been intimate with people... mainly random young men though, not women. And maybe this was why? He came back and he met Danika and he realized once more he had to be loving her. That's why he didn't want women out there. He had one he wanted already. Danika was so beautiful and perfect, and her blood tasted so amazing. Her fangs even felt so amazing and so did her kisses. Percy really wanted her so badly, but he didn't want it to go too fast, though he was sure she could be kinky. But not for their first time... not when she just said she loved him too, like he loved her.

He'd pulled back and looked at her, told how she made him happy and felt so right to him. He sensed how it pleased her to hear it, and all the while he touched her hair and looked at her with loving eyes. Danika confessed she'd never felt like this with anyone, and he felt her hands wander over his body. She kissed him again, and he returned the kiss. Her hunger rose again and so did his. Yes, Percy did want her so badly, the entire her, just have her. Percy's lips crashed to hers, more hungrily too, and he felt her hands by the hem of his pants, unbuttoning them...

Then she moved a bit so he could get his pants off, and he slid them down before pulling her close again, still on top of him. His hands ran down over her body to her thighs to hike up her skirt, "You've no idea how much I want you... and for so long..." Percy replied and pulled her closer again, buried his face in her neck with his lips and fangs gently nipping on her skin. Part of him wanted to just throw her on her back and have her, but Danika wasn't that kind of woman. That's why he loved her, because she wasn't like the others. He wanted her to be on top... it was the only way that was right with her.

Danika Ellis - October 4, 2010 01:27 AM (GMT)
Danika was the kind of woman who was all business. She took everything seriously and rarely even cracked a genuine smile. Being a woman in a line of work run by men, she often found herself adapting to fit in with the guys, where being harassed by the guys she worked with was not unusual. Still, nothing they ever said made her feel sexy. She never had the urge to bang someone from work. In fact, sex was the usually the furthest thing from her mind. But once again, Percy changed all of that. He made her feel like such a woman. He called her beautiful and treated her how a woman should be treated. He kissed her and touched her in all of the right places. And for the first time in over 4 years, she actually wanted someone.

She didn't know if it was their bond or the side effects from sharing blood or perhaps something more, but she had told him she loved him, and she kissed him hungrily, her hands running down his body towards the hem of his pants before even she knew what she was doing. She had thought about just tearing his shirt from his body just to get it out of the way, but first those pants needed to be gone.

Between her and Percy, they got them out of the way, his hands running over her body and up her thighs the moment she settled back onto his lap. He told her how he had wanted her for so long and pulled her even closer, his face finding her neck to nip at it again. This lust for him that was driving her right now, it was like nothing she had ever felt before. The growing desire for him was pushing out any sense of reasoning she had with every little nip and kiss. Letting out a soft moan from his lips, she found his hands and led them up further to the edge of her panties. It would be quite hot to do him while almost still fully dressed, yes? It gave her the sense of control that she preferred to have when it came to her life. The sense of control that was all but lost when she was with Percy.

Percy - October 4, 2010 06:50 AM (GMT)
Percy had to be the 'grown' vampire here. Danika was still very young, and she just tasted warm fresh human blood for the first time in her life. And it seemed to have set something free in her, something he didn't mind at all. They had even shared blood then, simply because they wanted to and it felt so good, tasted so good. When they had kissed after, he could taste his own blood on her lips, and it just made it all sexier. She'd now undone his pants, and they were off. He was older than her, much older. He could easily just flip her onto her back and have his way with her, and sure, a part of him did want to do that. But it wasn't going to be like that with Danika. It had to be different, because she was different. Percy had never loved such an independent woman before.

He didn't know that there was something beyond their feeding and sharing of blood, that made her want him. Or, he knew that he had to do something right to deserve this from her. But Percy just knew he treated her the way he thought women should be treated. They needed compliments and sweet words, they needed admiration. They needed to know that their man loved them and wanted them and would go through fire for them. Percy definitely felt like that right now. He'd do anything. She was so right and perfect. And to think she even went and opened his pants all on her own...

The pants were off now, he'd kicked shoes off in the process too, and she was on top of him again... he hiked her dress further up over her thighs, sitting there just wearing his shirt. If she wanted it off, he was sure she'd let him know. Danika said she wanted her, and oh did Percy want her too? Danika moaned and led his hands to her panties, and Percy slid his fingers underneath, rubbing her... she was ready alright... would she be upset if he tore her panties? She could always borrow another pair, he might have some of Faith's old stuff here still. But taking them off might be better... he moved his hand from under the panties to the top of hem of them, pulling them down. Looking up to meet her eyes, she'd have to rise for a moment to get them off.

Danika Ellis - October 4, 2010 11:26 PM (GMT)
Despite having known each other for over two years, they were moving too fast for Danika's liking. She had always thought relationships should be taken slowly, and while they had moved slowly, it scared her to think that she might be falling for Percy. It wasn't necessarily Percy that she had the problem with, it was letting the walls down and putting her full trust in someone else. Even though he continually proved himself to be good for her, trusting Percy with her heart was something she wasn't ready to do yet. And neither was trusting him with her body.

In her eyes, one's heart and body went hand in hand. There was casual sex. And then there was love making. And if she and Percy were going to do this, she wanted it to be the latter, yet she couldn't stop herself from turning it into something that she didn't really want. It just felt so good to feed from that girl and then from him, and his lips felt so good on hers that she wanted more of him. The part of her that was lusting for him wanted sex. Pure, unadulterated sex with hair pulling and biting and scratching. She wanted to rip his shirt from him and have him right now. And she was well on her way to getting that. They'd gotten his pants off, and she pushed his hands towards her undergarments, urging him to take them off. She let out a another soft sound when his fingers slipped inside her for a moment, only fueling her desire more, before he continued to grab them, looking to her as he began to pull them off.

Her eyes met his for a moment as she pushed herself up so that he could get her panties down further until she kicked them off, moving back down to sit on his lap, but not let allowing him to slip inside of her. She began to work on his shirt, planting a kiss on his bare chest with each button she got undone until she reached the bottom, her lips briefly grazing over his manhood before she sat up to push his shirt off his shoulders. Once she got that out of the way, she reached her arms around his shoulders to pull herself closer to him, roughly nipping his neck and collarbone.

Percy - October 5, 2010 06:28 AM (GMT)
It really was incredibly sexy to sit here with Danika on his sofa, her on top of him, he already had his pants off... but they were still more or less dressed both of them. That was the sexy part. And then her, she was definitely the sexy part too. He could hardly believe that she wanted to do this already, and of course part of her lust was fuelled by the blood and all. But there had to be a want and a longing behind that, else he imagined they'd not be doing it at all. Danika did really want him. She'd also kissed him before, and not only when he took the initiative. In fact, Percy thought himself very good for letting her take the initiative so often here. That's how it should be, with her. He could so easily take over, but he didn't.

Percy wanted her panties off too, though just before he let his fingers slide behind them and touch her, play with her, but it wasn't enough... their eyes met and she understood, got off him for a moment and let Percy slide them off her. She had such beautiful pale skin, he thought. And, he imagined, almost untouched. Touched by few others than him. It only meant that he longed even more, thinking that he was one of few. Just like with certain others, where he'd been their first. He took Faith's virginity and he made sex feel somewhat good to Cora, though not as much as he'd hoped. Hopefully with Danika, all would be different. Perfect.

Danika was on his lap moments after, but he noticed how she made sure she kept the control of the situation, though her naked lower body sitting directly on his... certainly made him want to move on right now. But she began kissing his chest and opening his shirt, making him let out small sighs and moans by the feeling of her lips and fingers touching him. He shifted a bit when she pushed the shirt off his shoulders. Oh but now he was entirely undressed and she was not... his arms reached around her to find the zipper of her dress, he wanted to see and touch her too... pulling it down so he could take it off her too, using both hands for it and letting his fingers graze her skin while he tried to pull it over her head.

Danika Ellis - October 6, 2010 02:06 AM (GMT)
The desire that was building between them was suffocating. They couldn't seem to keep their hands or lips off of each other once she moved onto his lap, nor did either of them seem to want to stop. Only Danika should have stopped it. She didn't feel ready, yet there she was, her lips trailing over his body, practically shaking from his touch, unable to stop herself from wanting him so badly.

Their clothes were practically flying off between the kisses and touches and even with the faster speed they both seemed to be moving, it didn't feel like they were moving fast enough. She'd managed to get him completely naked before he moved to unzip her dress. A part of her wanted to stop him for the sheer fact that it would be incredibly hot to do him while she was almost completely dressed but she was much too busy focusing on him to stop him once he got the zipper down. Soft sighs escaped her lips as his fingers brushed the delicate skin of her back, causing her to sit up so that he could pull her dress up over her head.

It wasn't until the black fabric of her dress came between them that she finally seemed to come to her senses a bit. She went rigid, like someone had slapped her across the face, her eyes finding Percy's once her dress was out of the way. She pulled away from him slightly, almost embarrassed at the current situation. How in the hell did she let it go this far? Sure, she desired him, but she couldn't go around giving in to all of her desires. It was bad enough that she had fed on a human tonight!

"Percy..." she trailed off, unwrapping herself from his shoulders and looking down at her hands as she fidgeted with the bow on the front of her bra. She was sure that if she was still human, her face would be bright red, but luckily that kind of thing didn't happen when you were a vampire. "I don't think I'm ready for this yet. It's been a long time since I've done this...and I don't want to mess things up between us," she finally looked back up to him, an apologetic look on her face.

Percy - October 6, 2010 02:13 PM (GMT)
It was probably moments away now. Percy loved Danika and she loved him, and though it would be sweeter if they made love, this wasn't bad either. It was far from bad to have her sit there on his lap, looking all sexy with her eyes so full of desire and her lips so perfectly rosy. And her skin, so pale and beautiful... the same with her hair, soft and gorgeous. Percy could spend a day just telling her all the compliments he had in his mind for her - and they weren't even really compliments, they were truths. He felt this way. And now he wanted to see more of her, she had him entirely naked under her - wasn't it time for Percy to get her naked too then?

He unzipped her dress and began to slide it off her, up over her head and she shifted to help him with it. His fingers ran over her skin, making sure he touched her while he pulled the dress off. And then it was off... of course she still wore a bra but he could live with that. My she was beautiful, but... Danika seemed to suddenly not feel the desire anymore. When he had thrown the dress to the floor, his arms went to embrace her and pull her close again - but Danika, she pulled back. Percy was naturally confused. They wanted each other, they'd fed together and now they'd have each other. Satisfy every hunger with each other. It was right because they loved each other and because of their close connection through the blood.

Danika pulled back from his shoulders, played with a bow on her bra and he could sense her odd embarrassment. Why did she feel that? She said she wasn't ready. She had gotten Percy all naked, all excited and riled up and ready for her and now she sat there, saying she wasn't ready?! You didn't do that... to a man. Certainly not Percy, he didn't want her to do that. He did not want her to stop! Maybe he really should have flipped her onto her back and had her when he thought about it! Oh but he should not, he should focus, he should... but he wanted her... so badly and for so long...

Percy put his arms around her again and pulled her closer, one of his hands sliding down over her back to her bottom and squeezed gently, all while he pressed soft kisses to her collarbone and neck, "But we're here... I'm sure you're ready..." Percy said and nipped at her skin, "I can make you ready..."

Danika Ellis - October 11, 2010 03:55 AM (GMT)
It wasn't until Percy moved to take Danika's dress off that she finally realized exactly what she was doing. She liked Percy. A lot. And a part of her did want him, but she had spent the past 4 years of her life suppressing that part of her. Sex wasn't something that Danika did often. In fact, she had only ever been with 2 other people in her life and both of them had been mistakes. Her past experiences with sex had left her too cautious and apprehensive and she wasn't ready to sleep with Percy. He was such a great guy and she felt a very strong connection to him, but she wasn't sure that sex was the best route to take right now. They could be intimate with each other without taking that final step.

Once he had her down to her bra, she pulled away from him, suddenly thinking about what was about to happen. She told him that she wasn't ready for this, unable to look at him while she spoke. She knew it was wrong of her to just deny him suddenly when they had been so ready just moments before, but she didn't want to do something she'd regret. She liked to take things slow. And that meant not sleeping with someone a few nights after deciding you didn't completely hate them. Percy was special to her. They had a connection she didn't fully understand, and she liked it. But she also wanted their connection to be about something more than just sex. They didn't need to sleep with each other for things to be special between them.

When Percy pulled her closer again, she didn't stop him, though she stayed stiff under his arms, the expression on her face barely changing as he ran his hand over her and squeezed her backside. He moved in to kiss her neck and while his kisses felt great, she couldn't seem to find the level desire that had been there just moments before. Did she want him? Of course, but it wasn't an overwhelming sense of want that was beyond her control. He spoke to her again, trying to change her mind with every nip and kiss. He even promised to make her ready. Why did he always have to push?

Slightly annoyed that he was pushing the issue yet again, she reached up to take his chin in her hand, turning his face so that he was looking up to her. "Percy...I like you. A lot more than even I'd like to admit, but you have to understand that this isn't normal for me. I'm not used to...being intimate with someone, and it's hard for me to completely let go."

Percy - October 11, 2010 05:54 AM (GMT)
Percy didn't want to stop now. It had been so perfect until now, the way she came over and they had danced, and she'd been so incredibly sexy when she fed. And then she'd bitten him and he bit her, and now they sat here, Percy was naked and she was almost naked too. All ready to move on to the next level - and that's where she pulled back and said she was not ready. Percy just about forgot what he'd learned in Asia. He should have accepted that, he should respect her words, but she had him all riled up and then she took back what was more or less promised without words. Percy wasn't fond of it and he was sure he could make her change her mind. He wanted her so much, he had waited for so long, he loved her...

So he pulled her closer again, kissed and nipped at her skin, squeezed and spoke of how he could make her ready for this. He wanted to, and he could, he knew he could. Of course he felt how she was all stiff in his arms and he didn't like it, but he could change her mind... he could... Danika pulled back again though and cupped his face to make him look at her. Said she liked him a lot - well she just told him she loved him - and then she added how she was not used to be like this with someone. Percy leaned closer to kiss her lips, "We'll take it more slow then... and not here." Percy said. So the problem was she wasn't used to being intimate and could not let go. Maybe it would be easier if they were in a bed.

Percy repositioned his arms on her, and then swiftly he stood up, sweeping her up into his arms with him. She was so light... and so perfect. He'd teach her to let go. Percy would help her all the way and he'd give her a night she'd never forget - and that would be in a good way, of course. Now he'd carry her out to the hall and upstairs, to one of the many bedrooms up there. They could of course have gone to his basement bedroom, but he thought she might have bad memories about it. So upstairs it was - and not in the bedroom that Faith used to have, and where he'd been so rough with Dario once too. No, another bedroom that hadn't been used for a long time, with a white-painted four-poster and white satin sheets with red edges. The room was held in white and red colors, very romantic if he should say so himself. Percy laid her on the bed and followed, pressing another kiss to his lips as he covered her body with his.

Danika Ellis - October 11, 2010 09:22 PM (GMT)
Danika had been so ready to go further with Percy after feeding on the girl and then Percy. The desire was so strong, she couldn't ignore it, and maybe a small part of her didn't want to ignore it. They had both been ready to go, all she needed to do was take the next step and she couldn't. It was like suddenly someone knocked sense into her, helping her realize that she wasn't quite thinking straight. She'd pulled away and tried to tell Percy that she wasn't ready, but he didn't listen. He told her he'd make her ready and pulled her close again, kissing her skin. She hated that he was doing this. She didn't want to have sex with him right now, and there he was teasing her. He had to know that he was getting something out of her with those kisses, even if she was trying to suppress it.

She stopped him again, once again trying to tell him that she didn't want this, even if she had yet to come out and tell him no. She was just so unsure about all of it. She wasn't used to being intimate and quite honestly, the thought of sleeping with him scared her a bit. She didn't like to let go of herself completely. That was part of why she never fed on humans. She was too scared that she'd let go and something would happen. But it hadn't happened tonight when she bit that girl...so why should she worry about letting go with Percy?

She didn't return Percy's kiss when he met her lips, watching him with a flicker of annoyance in her eyes. He suggested they take it slower somewhere else and before she could open her mouth to respond he had picked her up and began carrying her upstairs. "Percy...this isn't going to make a difference," she tried to make her case as he walked into a bedroom and laid her down. She looked around for a moment, taking in the new scenery. It was nice in there. It certainly had that romantic vibe that seemed to be the theme for the night, though she felt Percy was being far from romantic right now. When he kissed her again and began to move on top of her, her first instinct was to knee him in the balls. She didn't want him to be in the position where he held all the power, and with him on top of her like that, she felt vulnerable. Luckily for him, she didn't act on impulse and instead put her hands up to stop him from getting closer. She sounded a bit more desperate than she had before, nearly pleading for him to stop. "Percy. I don't want to do this anymore. Please stop trying to change my mind."

Percy - October 12, 2010 06:12 AM (GMT)
Percy could be a gentle and perfectly romantic lover. He could also be rough and raw... but clearly that's not what Danika wanted. She wasn't used to this, it was a long time since she did it with anyone and she didn't want things to go so fast. Well fine, they'd take it more slow then, Percy could do that. Danika had now tried to stop him twice though, but he still tried. Kissed her lips and told her they'd take it slower and not here on the couch. He knew just where to take her. And then, like any gentleman, he swept her up into his arms to carry her to a more proper bed. Danika said it wasn't going to make a difference. Why so negative and pessimistic all of a sudden? Percy liked the curious and tolerant Danika much more.

"You won't know until we've been there..." Percy said to her and nuzzled her neck with his face as he carried her up the stairs. When they reached a bedroom with somewhat romantic interior and colors, he laid her down on the bed and moved to lie on top of her and give her the best he could. But before his lips could reach her perfect and soft skin, her hands were between them and pushing on his chest. Stopping him... a third time. Now this was getting maybe a little annoying. She wouldn't even try. She should try, just relax and let Percy do what he wanted to do, because he knew it would feel good to her too. Sure he cared about his own pleasure, but he loved Danika, right? So he cared about her being satisfied too.

Once more she said she didn't want to do this. Asked him to stop trying to change her mind. Percy let out a sigh, he should respect her wish but he just felt so... disappointed. Everything had been so fine, and now... it was just ruined. She had ruined the moment. Percy pulled away though, all away, "Very well, as the lady commands." He said, though it was impossible to not let his annoyance and disappointment seep through to his tone of voice. Percy sat down on the edge of the bed, he couldn't even begin dressing, because the clothes were all downstairs. He had to do something, he could not sit here with a beautiful woman that he loved, and they were both naked and he wanted her so badly, but she'd not have him. Did she have any idea what she did to him?! He inhaled a breath and rose to his feet, the bathroom was on this floor, after all. "I need a shower." He said without looking at her - he just didn't dare - and moved towards the door.

Danika Ellis - October 12, 2010 08:09 PM (GMT)
Men were so frusterating. Percy was suddenly reminding her as to why she hadn't been with anyone in such a long time. She finally let her walls down to him and warmed up to him (perhaps a bit more than she would have liked), and he wanted more. She almost felt bad for getting him all riled up, then suddenly denying him, but she needed to think about herself here and what she wanted. Not his wants and needs as a man. Though he was doing much the same...thinking about what he wanted and not what she wanted.

She'd denied him twice already and he thought he could change her mind if they moved into a bedroom. Did he really think that would make a difference? Apparently so, because he scooped her up and carried her upstairs, laying her on the bed and moving on top of her. She didn't let him get very far however, putting her hands up to push him away, which really he should be thankful that was all she did. If she didn't like him as much as she did, she probably would have kneed him and left. It would just be easier on both of them if he'd listen to her and not try to pressure her into doing this. Why was it so hard for him to accept that she wasn't ready?

She watched his face when she told him no a third time, her gaze a bit harder than it had been before. And finally...it seemed to sink in to that thick skull of his. Though she immediately sensed how disappointed he was. And the way he said it...she knew he was upset. When he climbed off of her, she sat up, pulling her knees into her chest and wrapping her arms around her legs. She watched him for a moment, suddenly feeling bad about this. Couldn't they just cuddle and talk? That was romantic. He stood from the bed and said he needed to take a shower, starting towards the door. Oh, he was so pissed off now. And that really made her feel guilty. Damn it, he was so confusing. She watched him for a moment in silence, before unwrapping her arms and swinging her feet over the edge of the bed. "Percy...wait..."
