Suggestions so far, For me to remember

Suggestions is not only for you to suggest, but for me to compile my thoughts so you can rank them. Anyway, here are some ideas so far:

Eternal_Dread said there should be a Assult type game where there are two teams that battle each other to get the most gears. Another mode would be CTF, which could be quite interesting.

Crashed suggested oil spills that spread and could be lit by fire. That is a very interesting idea and would go good in the game. Hellish Flames suggested a spreading fire which is a good idea though I would have to watch out for lag.

Another one from Snakers 2. There should be trick gears, that spin around when you try and pick them up. Then they go side to side cutting you. This is a really good idea, though the side to side part is a bit essentric.
