ok, here's one for you guys, i'd like to consider myself to be somewhat of a smart person in general. 3 years ago i split up with a bf. that's another story though & i'm not too sure as to what's ok to post & such, so i'll leave it at that for now. anyway, after that, i haven't dated anyone & when i got my computer i swore that if i did meet someone that i wasn't going to start up that whole mess. but this one guy somehow got to me. & i can't stop thinking about him. so am i nuts here or what? i'm very cautious about it all because of how i met him, so i'm thinking with my head on this & not just the heart. so what's your opinions on this one?

Ok, did you meet someone online? If so, I would keep him at arms' length until you meet him face to face, not to scare you, but I had a friend of mine back in high school that met a guy online and was so in love with him that she dumped her boyfriend and went to meet this dude, and he turned out to be this old man and he raped her and killed her. Not to scare you, but I would find a real life boyfriend before getting involved online, JMO

i hear ya there poohbear. i really like him & have talked to him on the phone a lot & if he does come here one day my family or friends will be with us. i'm sorry to hear about your friend, & things like this is why i'm in no hurry to rush into this at all. we've been talking almost a year. he's talked to 2 of my friends & an aunt of mine, but i'm still cautious about it & taking my time.
as for the "RL" boyfriend, they aren't all that wonderful either. i have dated only 2 guys. i was a virgin up until i met the second bf. he knew that i was & that i didn't want to, but he kind of forced me into doing it. i blamed myself for a long time because of it happening. so that whole mess is another reason i'm in no hurry to get in over my head with this guy i like.

I hope everything works out for you, sweetie, keep us posted on if you do hook up with him, hopefully he's a hottie like Clay! I was a virgin when I got married, and I don't regret one minute of it, it's a wonderful feeling giving yourself to the one you love.

Thanks PoohBear, i'll keep ya posted. as for him being a hottie like clay (lol) um.... he's from charlotte & sounds a little like clay. lol, i'm just glad i met him before my clay obsession started because then i would figure it's all a little odd.
as far as the whole being a virgin thing...believe me i wanted to wait till i was married. it's better that way IMO but apparently me waiting, didn't fit into the last bf's plan.

Yeah, I hear ya, I lost a couple of guys because I wouldn't "put out" but any guy that's not willing to wait for me isn't worth my time, they can get a life for all I care....
