The Three As, Activity, Advertising and Affilates...

Okay, this site really needs a kick up the ass. We need to get the members we have to come back; an advert that we can post on other sites to attract new members; and affilates to attract members even when we aren't actively advertising...

So does anyone have any ideas for a synopsis of the site that could be used in an advert? Or graphics that we could use?

We'll also need some sites that could be potential affilates or just a place to advertise..?

I'll make up some graphics then run them by Civil and see what she thinks, then we can make a code that everyone can just copy and paste onto as many sites as they can to advertise...

Of course, doing a random advertising spree is no good either, because it just pisses people off after awhile. Summer is a fairly common time for a slump, so I don't mind. I haven't been here either, but it's hard when you don't have an internet connection.

But choose sites wisely and present the site in a high quality manner then it wouldn't piss people off more pique their interest. Also we should try to get on listings sites...

If anyone has any better ideas then feel free to throw them into the mix.

Try something I found useful- personal recruiting. Get people onto other sites, people who work hard. If you know the community well enough, you can quietly recruit many people in a manner that doesn't offend a body as a whole. People don't really take kindly to people just randomly chucking up ads.
