I'd love to learn more about Beckett's past! I think Castle has the best shot of getting renewed out of all of ABC's other new shows. I hope they confirm this by Friday (or May 19th). And I'm hoping for a season 2~

I can't wait! I'm dying to know what happens between them! But in all reality at least they didn't leave us thinking that Castle got shot and is possibly dead!

Considering the way tonights episode ended we'd better get renewed. I hate incomplete stories.

I hate cliffhangers... especially when they're not resolved.

Agreed!! Let's just hope if there is a second season, that it's picked up for full and will start in september/october and not in january/february as a mid season.

Nice. We need a full season :). I think Castle has the best chance of being renewed compared to all of ABC's other new shows. And they're not going to cancel all their new shows... are they? (Is that a possibility?)

And this thought has kind of been worrying me:
Castle is most likely going to be renewed for a second season. My fear is that after we get our second season, people (like us) won't be as crazy-supportive as we are now, desperately trying to get ABC to renew it for another season. Bear in mind that Castle can still be canceled after their second season, so don't forget to show as much support as possible (the same amount as now, and maybe more) even after we get (hopefully) a second season. (I hope that mini-ramble made sense xD)

Perfectly understood! I think if we can get a second season - a full season - we'll also gain a large viewer base! many people i talked with wanted to watch castle but felt that it wasn't worth it was a short season like this. they were already invested in other shows and didnt want to start something new.

IF (or when) ABC renews Castle for a second season, they should advertise Castle A LOT. Without Tivo, I will need to be constantly reminded to watch the season premiere when it comes :).

I think if you stick with this board we won't let you forget lol. I actually don't watch TV anymore really. Castle is my one hour of guilt free pleasure =) All the other shows became repetitive

I think my frequency of checking on this board will wane slightly over the summer, but I will check in as often as possible :).

And when (yea, I'm saying when now to be optimistic) Castle is renewed for season 2 and the season premiere date is released, feel free to post it all over the board so I don't forget. xD

I think it's a pretty good bet that we're gonna get our season two. I do agree, however, that we can't stop being this supportive of our show...because they CAN still cancel.

Castle is definitely picked up and will be airing on Mondays at 10/9c following directly after Dancing With The Stars.
