One of the reasons I haven't been in the air much, besides being busier than a 1-armed helicopter pilot at work (such as on a version of the Asterisk...an IP based phone system, more NEC DSX installs than you can shake a stick at...beats unemployment though,) I have been into other games for a bit.

Warhammer 40K is one of them. Another is Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl.

Still checking in though!

Stalker is a great game, though the weaponry isn't that great (but improves later on in the game).

Never tried Warhammer 40K though.

It would be nice if you had the time to fly, I really miss your shots cool.gif . But of the games you're playing can you take some shots and post them. I have S.T.A.L.K.E.R but never really played it. Happy Gaming.

I'm sure I will be in the sky again, just taking a break (I think I was beginning to suffer from an acute case of FS burnout)...

Right now I'm on my work laptop playing with a bluetooth adapter as well as going over some settings on that ISPBX system (it runs an a version of the Asterisk...)

At the same time, I'm at the laundromat...this gives me something to do while there.

My wife's computer died, I figured it was the graphics card (it's one of those e-machine boxes with an onboard NVidia)...I ended up finding a new mobo for about $36 and put it in...and up it came!

Over at the phone forum I mentioned this and one admin (joking of course) said "Great. Now we have a new computer geek who thinks he is a phone man." My response was: "As I always say, I was a computer geek before I was a phone phreak! "

At least this gives you an idea of how busy I've been...I'm still a Pilot too! By the way, I also got a chance to take a ride in a Van's RV-6 (amazing how the plane cuts right through the turbulence, I was flying it by holding the stick between thumb and forefinger only!)

By the way, I think I erred in where I put this discussion...I think I'll move it to General....I mean off-topic (heh, General is the other forum!) grin.gif
