Well Eaglesoft has just released their
new Columbia 400 so I decided to pick her up. My first impressions were, WOW. This is so much better than their Cirrus's in my opinion. Everything is detailed so nicely.
My Flight today was from KMWC (Milwaukee-Timmerman0 to KMOP (Mt. Pleasent). On today's flight I took her up to 13,000 feet and was cruising around 220 mph.

She flew very well not only by the autopilot but by hand also. Having the Avydine Flight Max on board helps a lot also.

But having these complex avionics on this plane will have an impact on your FPS. For me it was almost a 50% drop for me down in the mid teens. But to me thats fine because I never saw any stuttering during the whole flight. Eaglesoft really does do good though wit their avionics in any of their airplanes even though they are hoping on completing the whole Avydine setup soon. This would include a terrain and WX system.

Another plus with this airplane is the amount of detail that was put into this project. If you have their Cirrus SR20 or 22 and you like those, these you will love this C400. To me it blows the Cirrus out of the sky. The VC really stood out to me as thats where I thought Eaglesoft lacked in the past with their products. Well they really did it on this one. Just look at the picture below.

This really is considered my favorite plane right now is FS. Eaglesoft did an excellent job on this one and I can't see any major flaw at this point.
Pros:Detailed 2D panel and VC
Avydine Flight Max avionics
Sounds fit well with the airplane
Well modeled flight dynamics
Cons:Avionics do bring down FPS on lower end systems
Test SystemPentium 4 2.8Ghz
512 RAM
Nvidia 5500 graphics card
