There's a small city found in California, where the sun always seems to shine. It has everything a city should have: night clubs, a mall, a park, hotels- the works. But the one thing that differentiates this city from others is that there are three apartment buildings- the only source of residence. That's right, and all the action revolves around those three apartments: Aureole Accommodation, Aurora Apartments and Fahrenheit Flats.

Not everything is as happy as it seems to be. Sure, the city is profiting mainly by tourists. This was the town where the notorious murderer, Jimmy Logan lived. Jimmy Logan was known for a killing spree in the 1890's, he targeted mainly young women. Jimmy would set his eyes on a woman and he'd be smitten, he'd talk to her, get to know her and they'd go out. He'd soon become obsessed. The girl would soon notice and she would break up with him. Of course, this brought Jimmy into a fit of anger, killing the girl without hesitation. He was brought down by a police squad around three years later.

There have been a few murders occurring, young men killing young women, often in the same style Jimmy Logan had committed them in. But the murderers have been caught before they could kill another. In fact there's a rumor going around saying that this city is cursed. Some people have begun to call this city Tainted. Yet the tourists don't seem to mind, nor do the newcomers who are moving into the city.

Anything can happen here- trust, betrayal, marriages, divorces, one-night stands, long lasting relationships- the list just seems to go on and the drama never stops. Everyone knows everyone, but just how well do you know them? Everyone seems to have secrets, so the question is: who can you trust? Watch your back.
