***Character Weaknesses: These could include, but are not limited to:

Unacceptable weaknesses: that your character will be sad if someone they love falls terribly ill, gets threadscored, or suffers from a nasty splinter; or, that your character will be sad if their aforementioned loved ones are threatened by rabid wherries. These are things that apply to everyone. NO one wants to see their loved ones harmed or threatened by a particularly unsavory third party. Generalized things like these do not develop your character or set them apart in any way, which is the entire point of giving them weaknesses in the first place.

You do not HAVE to give your character a physical weakness, but give them a personality weakness or two AT LEAST. Real weaknesses are very important – they give your characters life, add an aspect of reality to them and make them likeable. Not ‘likeable’ as in every character who interacts with them will like them, but ‘likeable’ in the sense that people will enjoy reading about them and roleplaying with them, because it simply makes things more interesting. And we are here to enjoy ourselves, aren’t we?
Now, because our characters are flawed, not every character will get along (most likely.) Disputes between characters SHOULD NOT transfer to the players behind them. If you feel that someone is being disrespectful to you, notify a mod or admin and we will help you resolve the issue.
