Tracing Brąthair Prasgan's history back to the earliest start, the founding of Legio Leonis on December the 16th anno 2004 by Honduras is the earliest date including names of the current guild's members and the world of Roma Victor.

The rise and fall of the Legio Leonis

TWCenter.net, the very heart that brought life all that we have now. It was here that on December the 16th, 2004, Honduras posted that he found an exciting new MMORPG in development: Roma Victor. Not many people knew of the game, and as such there were only few guilds waiting for the game to hit the stores. The timing was good: the development was well on it's way through the beta stage, and just enough information was available to see that this game would become one of the best.

Thus, Honduras founded his guild on the boards of the already existing clan for Rome: Total War, the Disciples of Ares. What is left of the forums can still be found at http://s7.invisionfree.com/Discples_of_Ares/.

Mordhak was the first member to join, and as such he was made Honduras' second in command. Next came Octavian, Bthizle1, Lhorkan, EeSang, Xenophon, TB666 and many others. Ideas were flowing in, the guild was to a communist Roman one, temporarily named 'Legio Leonis'. New members were pouring in, other guilds were negotiated with. The guild was flourishing, apart from a minor but frequent disputes between Octavian and Mordhak and the fact that Bthizle1 was complaining non-stop about the guild name wink.gif .

At it's peak, the guild reached 20 members. Struggles for power were increasing in frequency, Octavian was looking for every occasion to bash Mordhak, optio_beans insulted several members. The forum was filled with nonsense and n00bish bullshit. Honduras and Mordhak did their best to keep order, resulting only in more chaos. Lhorkan was busy making an FMV, Xenophon was working his ass off for the guild, bthizle1 was looking for a new guildname, but it didn't help in the end. The fuse of revolution had been lighted.

Adam, King of Etruria, had been talking to bthizle1, who was most ready for revolution. He was easily convinced that leaving Legio Leonis and forming a new guild would be best. Adam promised that when bthizle would start a new guild, he would be introduced into a pact of steel between his clan, Etruria and Fulk As Waldus (another barbarian clan). They would then live together in 1 big city, 3 clans united as one.

Bthizle1 talked about it to Al, who had recently joined. He, too, was convinced fast. The 2 rebels talked to Mordhak, who had been suffering repeatedly from attacks against his person by Octavian and optio_beans. Mordhak, still the second in command of Legio Leonis, agreed and pulled his faithful servant Lhorkan with him into the rebellion.

On the 13th of February 2005, almost 2 months after the founding of Legio Leonis, Bthizle1, Al, Mordhak and Lhorkan founded their new guild behind the backs of their comrades at Legio Leonis: the Brąthair Prasgan, the Brotherhood. The guild was to be barbarian, and only members who possessed a certain level of intellect would be allowed, as the presence of illiterate n00bs ruined Legio Leonis. Bthizle and Mordhak became the leaders of the clan.
Xenophon was contacted via PM and later convinced to join the Brotherhood.

Recruiting posts were spread throughout the net, till a couple of days later, optio_beans noticed an announcement of the new clan on the forum of the Nervii. He alarmed the Legio Leonis, crying betrayal. This partially disrupted the Brąthairs' careful planning, but the information was confirmed nontheless. A couple of the Legio Leonis' faithful members, including Honduras, TB666 and EeSang were accepted into the newfound guild, leaving Legio Leonis without leadership. It perished soon in the anarchy that erupted. Legio Leonis had found it's end.

A new beginning

New member arrived quickly, and soon the clan became strong enough to earn a name in the world of Roma Victor. Plans were made for the big city that'd house the 3 clans, Brąthair Prasgan, Etruria and Fulk As Waldus.

All went well in the beginning. Adam, King of Etruria, seemed to be very involved in the newfound guild. Not only that, he also had the nasty habit of scolding clan leaders from neutral clans till they became hostile. This can best be demonstrated with the case of the Nervii. The hostilities between the 2 clans grew and, since Etruria was part of the Lombard League (the Pact of Steel between the 3 clans), the Brotherhood and the Fulk declared hostility, too, against the will of Divitiacus, the leader of the Nervii, and our good friend Xeno who would guard the wenches when war would erupt.

Other members of the Brąthair Prasgan joined Xeno in his anti-war behaviour. This made people think: do we actually need this war? Did we even ask for it? How did it come this far?
The Brothers realised that they had been tricked into the whole hostility thing. In the confusion that erupted, one thought emerged: we don't want this Lombard League crap. Adam ain't doing us no good with his behaviour.

Meanwhile, bthizle had decided that he had no time for leading a clan, so he left. A short period of anarchy followed, and it was decided that Mordhak would be the best candidate for the new leader. Mordhak, however, did not want to lead the clan on his own, so a co-leader was elected: Xenophon. Xeno would lead the economics of the guild, and Mordhak the military. Now, a general to lead the army was to be elected. Mordhak made up 3 trials that the candidate would have to pass in order to become the undisputed general of the army. Candidates were Kaso, Capo, Goose and Honduras (note: Honduras applied by PM and Mordhak forgot to mention it in the official thread). By unanonymous decision, Honduras was elected.

Back on the front, peace was made with the Nervii and the Brąthair Prasgan officially left the Lombard League. This, as to be expected, greatly pissed of Adam.

Time passed and soon, the greatest controversy in the known history of the Brotherhood erupted: Kaso declared that he had spotted Adam browsing the private forums of the clan. That could mean only 1 thing:

There was a mole in their midst.

New security measures were taken immediatly and the search for the mole started, to no effect. As a final resort, Xeno, the leader of the Hunt, came up with a clever plan: Capo would be blamed for the whole mess, kicked out of the guild to join the Fulk. Only Capo himself, Xeno and Mordhak knew that Capo was innocent and that it was all a trick to lure out the real mole. It did not really help, and after some time, Eesang, a former Legio Leonis members, left the clan. Icespy soon followed him.

What Icespy was unaware of, was that he had been a suspect for quite some time already. His sudden resign was the ultimate proof for most: Icespy was the traitor. The case was closed, Capo was welcomed back into the clan and all returned to normal once again.

More to follow soon cool.gif

Nah, it's not in the way. I'm going to keep editting the first one. Please do point out any spelling mistakes, or scream if you want to add something to the story.

A Great man once said,

I disagree, I think its better fight unfairly in war. If you fight farily you lose more men and it takes longer.

I see you decided to take the history upon yourself while Xeno is gone, Mordhak. Nicely done so far.

For someone like me, who was a later member that joined in March, it's good to know that kind of stuff. Thanks.

I knew about most of it already because...well I can read. Most of it has been brought up in topics around the forum. It's good that it has been brought together for non-members though.

I know, but all of it has not been brought together in one full story with all the information at once. This way we don't have to piece it together like a puzzle.
