Not mine but a "proper" one, a full-size BA boat with split oak planks and yew withies to be built at the Maritime Museum in Falmouth, Cornwall.

Starting in April after intensive preparation the build should be in the workshop of the Maritime Museum with public viewing and participation. |

Exhibition nearly ready to open and they are getting the boat build stuff in place.
"Cornwall and the sea in the Bronze Age" starts 13th April. Nobody has asked me to play with the boat build despite me asking but I shall spend a lot of around the place anyway! Edwin |

Another update from Neil:
--------------------------------- ![]() In the picture are the two oak truck section which when finished will make the center keel, joined end to end make the boat 53 feet long and estimated to weigh around 8 tonnes. It is being made with all bronze age tools 30 to date, by master ship wright Brian Cummings who has build several large oak ship.
