Into the Lair, Destiny finds the dragons lair

Days seemed to pass as the she-wolf climbed higher and higher up the steep slope of the mountain. The air was so thin it made her chest hurt to breathe. Small flutters alerted her to the pups growing in her stomach and that she had not fed in days. She had not heard her mate for days and trudged on. A fleeting image of her dream still alive in her mind driving her harder and harder. A large opening in the side of the mountain loomed just feet away from her. It was so large that it could only be the dragons lair.

Destiny stumbled the last few feet to the entrance and could smell death and brimstone. The images in her mind from her dream scared her far worse then this place could. She stood tall and tilted her muzzle to the heavens. A soft litl of a tone poured forth and bounced off the walls letting all know of her arrival. She continued to stand despite her legs wanting to fail under her from all the running and climbing she had done.

Fang had seen his mate, she was only 30 paces away from him, but then he heard the howl for him from alkali, He debated of who to go to, but he decided to run to alkali cause he knew it might be about slathe,and that was a bigger problem then his mate going to get powers, besides he knew his mate would be ok with the dragon, the dragon was really friendly, unlike slathe. He ran to where Alkali was, "Whats the problem" he asked hopeing it wasnt bad news

"Slathe is coming..."She panted, "To battle you, but its not him... its.... his other half controlling him, please don't hurt my brother!" To lost in confusion her secret had slipped out. Alkali whimpered, she had given herself up. What would Fang do? Alkali whimpered again, her body was trembling with the pain scuttling across her entire form. She collasped with a whine.

"Where is he" He asked, just when the scared wolf appeared he was showing off his musclar form, Fang was not inpressed, size didnt matter, strength did, Fang had fought slathe many times before, but he never fought his body when it was controlled by something, or someone," What is wrong with you, who is controlling you" Fang asked his muscles tensed the moment he saw the form of his enemy.
The voice spoke for slathe," I am your worst nightmare, I've killed many without mercy for anyone, watch out this kitty's got fire powers" The voice growled evily. Slathe;s eyes turned from white to hellish red in a second, His eyes focused on fang, then fire streamed out of his mouth, Slathe was blowing fire like a dragon would"
Fang knew things were bad when his eyes changed colors, when he saw thew falmes He jumped off onto a ledge and waited for his next move

She felt her form shaking. She didn't know what to do then suddenly she jumped infront of Slathe. Alkali's angery eyes burning hotter then flames every could and watching the wolf. It wasn't Slathe anymore, it was a diffrent wolf.
"The wolf that controls my brother, step forward from his body and you shall have I as your mate."

The gental white female heard what was going on behind her. And she knew the other wolf had his powers. Would the Dragon grant her greater powers in order to defeat the male? She did not know. She allowed her mind to open and her thoughts to drift deeper into the lair. She knew the dragon could read her mind like a book anyway. Slowly she glided into the cave. Again her unborn kicked in protest and her stomach grumbled as she smelled what seemed like cooked flesh. Something was in here and she was going to find it. She had to save Fang even if it meant her death against Slathe. Soon she stopped and stood still and tall. A large mouth full of razor sharp teeth gleamed before her. One bite and she was a gonner. She bowed politly despite her personal rank.

"Dragon, you know why I have come so far to find you, you granted Slathe powers in which to kill my mate, grant me powers now to defeat this rogue and save what must not die" , she said as three lumps in her side rolled softly in a ripple motion as the pups disagreed again.

Alkali snarled suddenly shaking her head. Her ruff shook violently against the large blast of frigid wind. The skies above rumbled and the rock beneath her paws shuddered. Then a flash of light slashed across the night, illuminating Alkali's snarling face. Auds flared backwards and a nasty expression that scent chilling tremors along her muscles. The skies opened up and the rain crashed hard against the earth's seal. It splattered Alkali's eyes and her coat grew wet and matted. Alkali snapped and turned, her optics looked to Fang.

"Held him off, I shall assist your mate!" Alkali galloped into the inky colored cave. The ground underneath her paws was slippery from years of rock crushing bodies sliding along it. Making the earth like diamond, Alkali could also smell brimstone and it made her stomach wrench. Guts churning inside of her, and then something firey hot like ash fell against her wound, making it burn and sinder. Alkali shook away the shall of hot embers and jumped deeper into the darkness. It was hot and humid inside of the cave and Alkali caught herself panting. She could feel the water on her thick coat evaporating into the air. Alkali could never move deep enough into the volanic rock, unless she could drink from the forbidden waters. She moved her lips into the large bowl carved into the skull of a dead dragon.

It was the luqiud that dragons emitted from thier brains. Alkali took many sips, her pain disappeared and she no longer felt the heat penatrating her body. She felt strong and limber, Alkali knew that if Destiny had gone even deeper she would not live without the elixer in her belly. Alkali galloped downward. The red lava gushed underneath the narrow bridges and large lakes of it bubbled like boiling water. Alkali glanced around, her blue and green eyes swarmed with emotion. Alkali didn't know Destiny but she knew that Destiny was full of cubs that were probably boiling in thier plementa. Alkali's paws skidded downward and she tried to dig her nails into the hard sandstone floor, they didn't catch.

She slid along the steep hill, lava heaving below her. Alkali continued to skid along threw the steep path. Then her nails caught into a large out jutting ledge. Throwing herself onto another path she managed to pick up Destiny's scent along a wide corridor. She could feel the hot breath of a dragon blwong strongly against her coat. Alkali knew that the elixer would where off, but the question was when. Thier was no time to spare. Alkali jumped into the fastest run she could manage, jumping low rocks and sliding under over hangs. Finally she caught sight of the large white dragon, its golden eyes tinted black. Long sharp curved horns scraped at the ceiling and long curled nails tapped the sandstone floors. A large tail swiped across the smooth floor, long neck arched, pointed beck slowly smacking its lips. Rows of razor teeth clicking and a stretched fork tongue lapped at the scent of Destiny. An earthquaking voice tore threw the cave, making the wet walls drip and shake. Alkali pulled up to Destiny, snarling towards the Dragon. Alkali noticed Destiny's breath, her sweat.

"You won't survive very long without the elixer!" Alkali growled above the roaring magma inside of the lair.

"Why are you doing this slathe" He growled ingoring everyone and everything around him, he was only focused on getting rid of the thing that was controlling slates mind. Fang's mind went back to when they first met as cubs and how much fun they had once had together, then everything went downhill from there and Fang didnt know why, but slathe did.
Slathe looked at fang, showing no emotion at all, Slathes mind was trying to regain control over whatever was there in slathes head. "I'm doing this because you dont desevre to have a better happier life then me, I'm the one that should have the pack and be happy." The voice growled deeply and slathes eyes lit up again, as fire blasted at fang
Fang dodged the fire once again, slathe may of had powers, but he wasnt good at using them. "Slathe you need to get this thing out of you, or you will destroy yourself" Fang growled at him, he knew he shouldnt get too close or he might be attacked, but it was something he had to risk, he needed to put an end to this once and for all.
Slathe collasped to the ground and a blurred image of a wolf appeard besides the collasped body. The wolf was female and was unknown to fang, but that just made him wonder if anyone else knew her and of her controlling powers. Fang attacked the wolf, but he flew right threw her image and ended up laying on the ground open to attack

"You don't remember me, do you?" The image turned to face Fang. Her eyes were empty sockets and soon her form was moving like a rapid towards Fang. "Why would you even want too?" The female twisted and opening her mighty jaws images poured out like free memories before the eyes of Fang. "I was once your pride, your joy, your mate." The memories of thier courtship flooded the stone ledge. She walked forward, her empty sockets burned and flared. Then she called back the memories and let his thoughts burn across his joints. letting it poison his mind, his emotions. Like a great python she wrapped her form around his, the hazey smoke puffing from her mouth as she panted. "You want to remember, don't you. But a fog haunts before you, doesn't it?" The late mate of Fang hissed gently into his ear, letting a cold breeze move along his belly. Jumping away from him she danced pon the ledge. "Try and seek me out, for I have been in the dreams that you forget, and I have been stalking you longer then ages known." A sleek mist of black rolled along the rocky floor and soon only they were left, standing in a dark circle. "Tell me, you have fallen in love with another, well stand now and remember that one of those cubs shall be connected to me, Morga, and this cub will haunt in Destiny's belly intill birth. And this cub shall come as I beckon... only one person can break the spell I hold over this cub. Alkali... Slathe's sister." Morga laughed cunningly, "Only her love can save your cub."

Fang's eyes wided, his mind wandered back to her and the times they spent, but how could she, why would she do this to him, He decided to belive that it really wasnt her, and just some demon wolf pretending to be. His mind became a war zone the past present and thoughts of the future all fighting, He didnt want anything to happen to his mate, or there cubs, he was living his dream and now he was crushed. "Why are you doing this" He growled his voice echoed off the rocks

She smiled.
Her form buzzed around him and then, her empty sockets gazed deeply into his orbs. Moving closer her nose pressed against his, but then she whirled around and snapped at his scruff. But she only wne threw him, Morga smiled.
"I am simply here because you wish it. Don't denie it, you yourself has caused this mis fortune. Now Alkali deep into the cave is trying to save your presious mate, but in the end she shall die underneath your presence. Because she has met you she has no future other then to wilt in the caves trying to save your heat struck mate. No wolf in thier right mind could survive not even if they drank the healing elixer. Only spirits can forge along the paths."
Gently her eyes sindered and she fell back.
"Is your mate, and your brother and your cubs more important then one wolf life? But no matter what you choose someone will parish. Alkali will suffer, because she is blood to Slathe and so she is also a traitor."
The rain beat down harder as her auds flipped back and her voice fell eerie.
"Remember my words." Then she jumped back into Slathes body and they headed down the mountain.

Fang was stunned by her words, he did not know why she claimed that he wished this to happen, he had never wished such a thing, he was happy with his mate and his pack,and now he had to lose a friend he had just met, it didnt seem fare to him, but whoever said that life was fare. Fang watched slathe leave, anger filled his eyes, He didnt chase after him, he didnt know of the kinds of powers they had, so He ran up towards the mountain, He needed to tell his mate what had happened, and to save her and Alkali. How could he survive in there when the heat would kill so fast you wouldnt feel anything, He came to the enterance and howled for his mate or alkali, whoever could hear him, but they didnt come. He padded in unsure of what he was doing, He figured the only way to get to the dragon was to have a sprit with you, or he could ask the dragon to come to him. Why would he listen to a little wolf, Fang knew that the dragon wasnt as nice as he used to be

A long eerie howl aroused from the restless skies and down came a running wolf. White and smooth as if he were nothing but the wind. His blue eyes with the white ring around the iris smiled. His black lips curled up in a friendly gesture. Landing near his faithful friend Frostleaf lowered his maw in respect.
"Do not enter, I decree, if you do you may never be free!" Frostleaf howled out, pulling Fang away from the cave. The rain washed threw Frostleaf and he didn't seem to notice. "I shall travel down the tunnel and save your friend and your mate...."

Fang looked to the figure of frostleaf, His eyes filled with the hope that they could be saved. "Frostleaf, Morga has taken over slathes body" He spoke before thinking of what he should say, its not everyday you get exactly what you need right away. FAng didnt know if frostleaf knew who Morga was, he just assumed that he knew and he hoped frostleaf whould save his mate and friend

"I can save your mate, and I can save your friends but I cannot save your cubs. They may have already boiled in thier mother stomach... but thier is something I can promise. Into the forest you must find the mother oak, she was the first oak born to this land. She stands alone in the smallest clearing, sap drains from her pores. You must find away to enter the sap into your mates body without her tasteing the secretion. If she does it may cause your mate to suffer excrutating pain to her lungs, nose, ears, eyes mouth and around her joints." Frostleaf whimpered sadly. Then with a quick gruff growl he looked to Fang. "Are you afraid I shall fail? Well don't be, be afraid that you will fail."
