Moonbeam trotted to the mouth of the den and called in. "Hello? Shadow, Kammy, it's Moonbeam and a friend of mine." she stepped into the den and sat across from Shadow, waiting for Midlight.
Shadow rose to greet the Moonbeam. He slightly bowed to be polite, as Alphas were to be to each other.
"Come in." Moonbeam motioned with her tail to Midlight.

Kammy stood up, and watched Moonbeam and another wolf walked in. Reconition raged across her face, And she whined with joy. Midlight, ti's you. She jumped up, and ran towards her brother.
Midlight ran towards his sister, and nuzzled her. "I thought I lost you, that long time ao. I missed you."

Shadow walked over and sat by himself. "She's a lier, that Kammy. 'I hate my brother, I was never accepted because I wasn't like him'" he thought as he watched the scene unfold.
"I found him, or rather, he found me. He's part of my pack now." Moonbeam stated cooly. She looked at Shadow, and then Kammy. Something was wrong. She searched Kammy's eyes for the answer.

She knew that Shdow was watching, but she didn't care. It all started coming back to her. She realized that M<idlight had a funny odor to him, and she licked across his spine. Underneath his white coat was a lush black AND white coat. It wasn't her brother that was treated like a king, it was there other sister Lesalty, that was treated like a queen, She was never killed. Suddenly anger flared in Kammy's eyes, and she let out a growl.

Shadow sighed. "Here we go again." he whispered to himself. He stood and walked over to Midlight. "So, you're Kammy's sister, huh?" he asked with no emotion. He nudged Midlights chin up and place his paws further apart.
"That's more like a scout, I'd say."
Moonbeam grinned. Shadow had noticed her work on Midlights stance and placement. She walked over to the crowd and sat beside Kammy, not Shadow.

Kammy leaned over to Moonbeam and told her everything, and that it wasn't her brother that was treated like royalty, but her sister.

Moonbeam just sat there. "And WHY are you telling me?" she asked strangley. "Tell Shadow. He's your Alpha, not me." she searched Kammy's eyes. "Tell me what happened." she sighed and looked at Midlight.
Shadow sighed too and walked just outside the den to bask in the sun. He was angry, sad, and hurt all at the same time. In their fight, he discovered emotions he hadn't known existed.

She told Moonbeam about their fight, and looked sheepish. "I'm afraid FOR Shadow. He's trying so hard to remember things, and it's wearing him out."

"You attacked him?!" she exclaimed with rage and compassion. "Listen to me, Kammy. He isn't like he once was. You are right, kind of. He IS worn out, but pravoking him means certain death right now. I'd be ashamed, fighting an Alpha and challenging him like that!" she sounded tired, angry, sad, happy, and smart all at once.
Shadow stretched out under the suns rays, absorbing the heat, feeling better. "It wasn't Kammy. It was the sun. It made me strong." he thought as his strength returned. "Oh well. Whatever." he muttered.

"I know I shouldn't have done that, but something is wrong with me. I have this strange feeling, a feeling for blood. I don't know what's wrong with me, and I wished Shadow had killed me then."

Kammy got up, and walked over to Shadow. She sat down next to him, and spoke. "Shadow? About what happened. I'm sorry about what I said, but it made me real mad how you were treating yourself. The somethinghappened, and I lost a sense of who I was. I hope you'll forgive me, someday."

She knew he was right, and it made her feel even worse. "I was afraid, Shadow. Afraid that you would be the same. Everythin about you was the same. The color, the walk, the voice. I was afraid you were that wolf that killed my family. I know it isn't possible, but I can't get his voice out of mu mind. I have hurt our friendship, something I never meant to do, and I hurt you. I shouldn't even be here, but you gave me a second chance, and I will honor it. I will do everything I can to gain back your trust. Everything."
