Kiba looked across the vast area, he smirked padding his way along the thin walkway. He was not here to claim the land he was here to rest. Looking up at the snow covered mountains and the blue sky with the few white fluffy clouds that lingered in the sky he sighed ever so slightly. He turned to see a little rock sitting among patches of grass and snow. "ahh at last" he sighed and padded his way towards it. He looked around quickly scouting with his sharp eyes for any danger, finally feeling safe he lay against the rock an a patch of grass, his left paw resting on the icy cold snow and causing perfectly clear paw prints to be left.

Closing his eyes the wolf began to relax, he lay his head on his right paw which rested on his left front leg. He tucked his hind legs into his stomach and smiled to himself closing his eyes. He hoped to rest here until a more suitable home could be found, but even with this in mind he knew he was pretty comfortable here and would probably eventually claim it as his own, if he ever felt the need or had someone to share it with. Though even with this he would defend it like his territory.

Kiba lifted his head and stretched his body out. he smirked as the dawn crept over the sky and a rising sun heated his back. He looked around quickly, no one had been anywhere near him while he had slept. His eyes scanned the area, he was lonely and did not feel much like hanging around this place. It was dull here on the mountain and Kiba was bored of spending his time alone. With one more long stretch he leaped from his seat and landed elegantly in a small patch of snow. He made his way quickly swaying his body from side to side as he traveled.

Kiba paused looking back over his shoulder, he did not know why but he felt himself torn, if he continued on his journey he may risk loosing the wonderful territory to another male, if he stayed he risked living his life alone. Kiba gave a heavy sigh as he truned away and continued to trot towards his search. Perhaps the territory would remain unclaimed and he could return to it with his mate, if he found one. he smirked to himself of course I will he though to himself.
