OOC: 8 square foot container of grease (40cp), a test-tube of Alchemist's Fire (35cp based on revisions) , 5 feet of trip wire (25 cp), and a weapon of normal quality. 3sp total.

IC: Still strapping the sword to his hip Pelleas dashed in apologizing, "Sorry! I tried to get the swordsmith to believe the 'my daddy knew you before he died in the Great War' story but it didn't quite work."

His small pack seems slightly heavier than normal, the blade sturdier but no less light.

(OOC: Yeah, well, Swordboy edited his post after I posted. :\ )

Libe had settled against an inviting post near the caravan, and had passed the wait by carving a small series of decorative grooves into his newly-acquired blade. So far he had only a small tangle of vines sketched out near the guard. He deemed it satisfactory in quality, and resheathed it just as Pelleas made his return.

He took a light step forward and glanced among his three comrades, "I take it we're all ready to leave, then?"

(OOC: The little interlude apparently took a pickaxe to my creativity. Blah. I'll up the post quality as we go on.)

The greasy man took one leery look at them all. He shifted his weight and gave them a serious look,

"Now.. I'm only going to explain this once.. and you'd all better get it. This took a lot of time and materials... so you'd better not break this thing." The man said, indicating the caravan he was sitting in. He rested his palm on the symbol.

"You jus' 'ave to place your palm on the symbol, there's five circles that you put yer fingers on, but you don't 'ave to worry if your hands are small, as long as your close to 'em. You then focus..." He droned, closing his eyes to focus energy. The blue symbol suddenly came alive, shining a bright blue aura. Suddenly the caravan and the man promptly dissapeared. Even the reigns on the horses dissapeared. It appeared that there was just two black horses standing there in the stable.

"It won' take any energy to activate, but it does tire you like a technique." A disembodied voice called, "Now, it won't re-appear until you touch it again and 'tell' it to stop; that requires no spirit."

And promptly the caravan and man reappeared.user posted image
OOC: No energy to use, but does use a spirit as if you used a technique. Most (non-passive) worked items will require a spirit to use, especially powerful ones. Some scrolls and stuff does not.

(OOC: Picture a normal caravan. On the driver's seat there is a wooden armrest, and on this armrest a blue symbol is engraved. The symbol has 5 small spheres on it, and when you touch each symbol with one of your fingers, the caravan's invisibility is activated until you touch them again. Activating the invisibility requires no energy, but it does count towards your Spirit and it does tire your character like a technique.

If that cleared it up, then I'll post after you do.)

OOC: Couldn't have said it better myself
IC:

Daelin whistled impressed, "If the shadow clan knows something, it's stealthyness..." He said. The greasy man gave him a dark look but then hopped off.

"Well, I'll be happiest if you'll take yer leave now..." He grunted and leaned against the side of the stable, "... but If you have any questions I'm open to them." He said.

Daelin walked to the back of the caravan, peering inside, noting the room just for gear and maybe two bodies,

"Couldn't have made it bigger?" Daelin asked, tossing his pack inside. The greasy-looking man barked out a laugh,

"I just did the rune, the designers made it as quiet and stealthy as possible without energy. If you wanted it any bigger, you'll have to complain to them... and I'm sure they aren't listening." The man grunted.

Daelin sighed but turned back towards the others to see what they thought...
OOC: btw, every pack is assumed to have rations, water, change of clothes, ect.

Morgan followed suit and tossed her pack next to Daelin's. Climbing into the back of the cart next to the gear, she motioned for the other two to hand their gear. "The sooner we leave, the sooner we can get on with the mission."

Pelleas handed his things to Morgan, "I'm not too particular where I sit, so I'll just go where I'm told."

Daelin grinned at the two, "Well, I'm glad we're ready to go, I'm tired of being in this pit anyways." He said, not bothering to see the greasy-man's face to that. Daelin felt a momentary pang of fear about heading back to Kin... what would he say... he was as good as an outlaw if he went back there... He shook the feeling off and jumped in the driver's seat,

"I guess I'll drive, I have some training with horses anyways" He looked to Libe to see where he was.

OOC: so let's move to travel section then? Otoh, unless anyone has anything planed, the journey between kin and oziel is pretty short, and relatively well guarded, so maybe we could just skip the travel....

Libe meandered up to the rear of the caravan, where Morgan was currently hefting Pelleas' supplies aboard. With an underhanded toss, he tossed his rather small pack over their shoulders and into place.

It was clear even before Daelin's complaint that the caravan was undersized, but Libe assumed that that was the price they would have to pay for the invisibility: a larger caravan would be less practical to conceal. He quickly gauged the avaliable space, found that it would sufficiently house two people, and then regretted letting Pelleas get ahead of him in line.

He shook his head, waited for the swordsman to hop inside, and occupied the small amount of space left at the very back of the caravan. He faced outwards, legs dangling over the ground.

After the group seemed settled, he glanced over his shoulder towards where Daelin sat and announced, "Ready when you are."

(OOC: I'll leave the Kin thread to one of y'all.)

OOC: Ok, Here's some facts about the caravan. The drivers seat is actually a bench just large enough to fit two people on it; although only one person has the reigns. The inside is enough for two people to lay down (Roughly 6' max people) and some equipment/supplies. It is all made from dark wood and the canvas of the caravan is painted black for stealth. The armrest with the rune is on the driver's side (Which is the right side). The cloaking will cloak everything within a cube that stretches about six inches in front of the driver's seat, six inches above and six inches behind, on the sides it rests a close 3 inches. The cloaking also affects the reigns and other stuff on the horses, so it looks (While cloaked) that the two horses that pull the caravan are just running very close to each other, but everything else should be cloaked.

Takes one spirit to cloak, but it will stay cloaked (not infinately long) but long enough (Lasts about a month max before it cannot stay cloaked and must 'rest'). It draws its energy from its surroundings, so it will work pretty much everywhere except places that just don't have life energy in them (Which I don't think are anywhere on this contenant). Those who are experienced with life force (Usually high level Life clan or high level Elemental) can notice the slight pull, but even that is designed for stealth, so it is hard to detect.

I'll post a new thread later, or Spoit if you want to have the honor ^_-
