Early Winter - December - 497 H.E.

The air is chilly during the day, and frigid during the nights. Icicles hang from the bare branches of trees, a layer of ice on lakes are thick enough to skate on, and the grounds are covered with fluffy snow, perfect for snowball fights. The long, clear nights hint of a slowly approaching holiday, Yule. Decorations are being prepared in both the city and the palace's main ballroom.

Dining Hall For those nobles and royals, who come and go as they please, this area is reserved for them to eat all the courses of the day. It is richly decorated, with fire places, chandeliers, and tables carved with near perfection.	0	0	-- In: ---- By:
Mess Hall It is smaller then the Dining Hall, and less extravagant, meant for the use of pages and squires. It's almost plain looking, as there isn't much time for pages or squires to dawdle.	0	0	-- In: ---- By:
Kitchen The most busiest place in the Palace, with servants in and out, chef's perparing meals with the help of cooks. It's as busy as a bee hive, and Page's have been known to coax a snack from here.	0	0	-- In: ---- By:
