Early Winter - December - 497 H.E.
The air is chilly during the day, and frigid during the nights. Icicles hang from the bare branches of trees, a layer of ice on lakes are thick enough to skate on, and the grounds are covered with fluffy snow, perfect for snowball fights. The long, clear nights hint of a slowly approaching holiday, Yule. Decorations are being prepared in both the city and the palace's main ballroom.

Entrance
The intersection of the palace; servants, nobles, and visitors all enter through here. It is a large corridor, complete with large paintings, indoor plants, carpet rugs, and large, heavy, doors.

Hallways
The only way to get to one place to the next is through hallways. Some are outside, covered, and some are inside; some turn into stairways and others into dead ends; some can make one arrive sooner, or later, at one place. The hallways make of the movement system of the palace,

Library
Not as large as the one in the University, the Library has its host of rare scrolls and manuscripts. However, it has the capacity to fulfill the simplicest of needs.

Infirmary
Plain and simple; the place where the sick get better, and the hurts heal. Both gifted and non-gifted healers work here.
