Early Winter - December - 497 H.E.
The air is chilly during the day, and frigid during the nights. Icicles hang from the bare branches of trees, a layer of ice on lakes are thick enough to skate on, and the grounds are covered with fluffy snow, perfect for snowball fights. The long, clear nights hint of a slowly approaching holiday, Yule. Decorations are being prepared in both the city and the palace's main ballroom.

Girls sleep with girls, and boys with boys. This is where the pages come to mostly just rest, or some last minute studying.

Classrooms
The learning section of the palace for the pages. The classes include: History, Immortal's, Mathematics, Strategy, Writing & Reading, and Etiquette. Pages with the Gift, are required to take a course on the Gift, whilest those who do not are required to take a course about the Gift and Magic.

Offices
A hall devoted to teachers and council men, that home away from home to keep the work out of the way of family. The largest of offices belongs to the highest council men, the biggest room on this floor used solely for meetings.
