A Website ?, ?

Since we have this forum and we never use it i want to make a begining to it and make a website, But differently. Now, most of you would think im talking about making a website on a hosting site but i think we should run a server ?

I wish i could but i cant run a server as parents wont let me But hopefully one of you guys could. Most of us also know the basics of website coding e.g. HTML, PHP, CSS ect. And even if you dont they dont take more than a few hours-Days depending on how much time you have.

Hopefully aome of you agree to make this website. The theme i was looking for is something like HTS, But a little different. We actually HELP people learn to program and hack.

It may take a lot of time but i think it would be worth it !

lol the only problem is the cost to run an online server; but if someone is willing to pay, I'd definately work on it

Can you give me a breif explanation into OpenSSH ? For example: How it can be used, What it does ?

OpenSSH is basically a free server software. You install the server portion on your computer and it allows anyone with a client to connect to the server. Usually most people use it to make a private connection to their computer at work from home so they don't have to go all the way back to the office, but you could make it public.

Oh so what your saying is if someone makes a server then we can use that to connect to it from our laptops/ PCS ?

You'll definitely have better luck getting a friend who already hosts his own shit to host it for you. If it ends up getting popular and he doesn't want you eating his bandwidth you can move to another server. Most people I know just have one o' their mates host it for 'em.

Alright well I feel guilty watching you guys flounder around all the time. I've been refraining from posting any hosts that are friends of mine because I don't quite trust all of you guys not to do something stupid which would then reflect back on me.
