Appearance: She's 5'11" tall and has piercing ice blue eyes. Her eye color shifts with her moods, the darker the blue means the angrier she is. She has a black ring around her iris and a very dark blue star around the pupil of her eyes, which are framed by long lashes. Her body is average and well proportioned, her height is mostly in the leg. Her haircolor is an odd shade of honey blonde, it has a distinct coppery sheen in sunlight. Her hair is usually tied back, braided, or left loose. Her skin is very pale and tans slightly, but seldom burns. She has a freckle under the corner of her right eye.


Personality: She acts docile and shy with people she doesn't know very well or who are in a position of power. She has a very cynical sense of humor and is very headstrong when she knows she cannot be faulted. If hard-pressed in an argument, she will fight back and is not afraid to fight like the boys. She tends to hold grudges against those who wrong her, but will only carry them out if she knows for certain she can't be traced.

History: Grew up as the youngest of five children. Her father is the brother to the Lord Holder. He hid his daughters every time he heard of a search on the basis of needing all the help he could get. Her parents weren't abusive, per say. They just though it best that the children stay put and the girls marry off respectably. Selyra Impressed two fire lizards when she was eight turns, giving her father the idea that she might be able to Impress a dragon and more reason to hide her. He also figured that the lizard would be enough for her. Blows were given if there was disobedience, or what her father perceived as. One day when there was a festival at the main hold that she and her family, a traveling harper was visiting the hold and heard Selyra singing along with some of the ballads and witnessed her father reprimanding the girl for singing. Selyra later found the harper and remarked about how she wanted to be a harper instead of a farmer or holder. He told he that he wished was was too, and explained that she has a good voice. She, in turn, explained her family to the harper, when she dropped a cloak heavier than needed.That led to more questions and Selrya informing the harper that she was planning on leaving and was trying to buy what she could in order to. The harper agreed to take her to the Harperhall and told her to slip away to a place a ways down the road and he would collect her when the festival ended to take her to the Harperhall.

She spent the next three turns in the Harperhall, learning as much as she could. She proved to be good at copying Records and ballads. She is trying to train her fire lizards to sign with her.

Interesting Facts: She can sometimes coax dragons to reply to her, more often than not. She's well-learned in holding and regards dragons calmly, having grown up with fire lizards

Triumph (gold): Acts as Selyra's anger for moments when the girl can't show aggression. The lizard is protective of her friend and listens well. She can be used as a reliable messenger.Generally polite and even-tempered, unless insult or injury is done to Selyra or the blue lizard.

So far, what I've read is okay... Except the fire lizards. xD You can't join with pets. You have to earn them.

Coaxing the dragons would be a bit off... And the male harper taking pity on her is plausible, but rare. ^^ But I'm okay with that one. Sorry for the wait!
