Secret Santa, Introduction - please read this first!

Disclaimer: This activity involves you giving out your address if you are uncomfortable with that please do not participate, there will be other things you can do to spread Christmas cheer. If you are under the age of 18 please ask your parents for permission first before joining.

As Christmas draws near, Secret Santa is dawning upon us once again. The purpose of Secret Santa is to anonymously give/receive a gift from a fellow Asterian, so that we can all celebrate giving and receiving during Christmas together!

The rules - this is a gift exchanging activity. Everyone will be giving and receiving a gift.

The price limit of the gift is $10US dollars min. (should you choose to go over the limit that is up to your own discretion)

Please try to send your gifts as earlier as possible to ensure it reaches your buddy by Christmas if it arrives earlier you can just say please don't open till Christmas.

If you participate you MUST send a gift. We want everyone to have a good time so don't join and then back out at the last second.

YOU MUST stay anonymous. I thought it'd be fun this year to reveal all the santas at once on the forum. So if you send a note or a card with your presents don't tell them who you are, just sign LOVE YOUR SECRET SANTA! And then after Christmas, if I'm sure everyone has sent/received a gift I will open a topic to reveal your secret santas!!!!

You can also email them or send them little notes prior to Christmas to get them into the Christmas spirit.

Here are the steps you will need to follow after you decided you want to participate:

2. When you have sent your gift post in the sent gift thread
3. When you have received your item post in the received gift thread
4. Post your thank yous!

about the anonymous part...
do we write our names in the addresses?
coz we always write it whenever we post things...

Hey Good question...

I know most places require you to write a name for the return address.
I thought itd be fun to keep things anonymous so you can either make up a name, OR first initial last name I guess.

Maybe people won't know your last name.........

Maybe even putting S.S

Last time I sent the package I don't remember putting my name down. BUT yea. See if you can find ways around it...if not I guess it won't be totally anonymous

^^ After the deadline, I will randomly choose names out of a hat and when I have gotten your partners I will pm you your partners address and that will be your secret santa..well you will be that person's secret santa.
