so far i have 1 sunfish and a crayfish in there........ tonight im going fishing and im going to try and minnow trap some fish while i fish for some perch sunfish and rockbass for my tank........ maybe even some large or small mouth or small catfish if i can find any.
i recently got a nice piece of root drift wood and it looks amazing in my tank but it started to get moldy so i had to soak it in the bath tub. it probably weighs about 75 lbs and its huge....... takes up half of the 50 gallon and still sticks part was out of the water which looks awesome because its like you are seeing underwater in a lake and then you have an above part of the log sticking out like you are seeing it from above while fishing in a boat. it looks so awesome. its the best tank ive ever seen. but for now its not in the tank cause its soaking in bleach to kill any bacteria and mold in the wood. then im soaking it for a week and adding dechlorinator to the tub to jet rid of the bleach. i will post pics of it once its back in the tank but IMO it looks so natural and its the best tank ive seen. im also hoping to learn from the fish and how and where about they hide around logs in the water and stuff like that so when i go fishing i will know how they behave and how close they hide to a group of roots sunken in the water. -------------------- 5 gallon feeder goldfish
15 gallon (1) (1) pink female convict black convict 1 male 40 gallon (1) 5.5" serrasalmus manueli/4 inch female ZZ FH 50 gallon natives..... 1 blue gill, 2 rainbow trout, 1 creek chub and 5 crayfish and a clam 75 gallon 1 female dragon FH 1 kamfa FH divided with another female FH 120 gallon empty while waiting for custom stand to be built  |

Ive seen this tank before it got mouldy, it looked fuckin awesome! and seeing dan running down the beach carrying a giant log toped it
