Ah! With the second season of Kaleido Star coming out and the new OVA freshly released on fansubs I decided to bring up this show.

For those of you who don't know it, Kaleido Star is about a girl name Sora from Japan whose dream it is to join the Kaleido Stage and become a true Kaleido Star. On her journey to become a star, Sora encounters many different characters such as Layla, the diva of the Kaleido Stage, Rosetta, the Diablo child prodigy, Mia and Anna, two crazy fun loving stage newbies, and many more. The story focuses a lot on how the characters interact and try to make Kaleido Stage a wonderful place for all in their own way.

Despite the pink sugary outside, this show can really hit on some deeper and darker moments. While it's main theme is to believe in yourself and you can overcome many obsticales, there are still many cruel reality checks that take place (especially in the second season.)

The show was a hidden gem when it first came out but now I think fans are starting to voice their opinions and spread the word about this wonderful show.

If you haven't seen it go pick it up! The first season just re-released thin-pack style and the second season has just released it's first dvd.
