[Dark Beauty of the North]

The tears streamed down her face because she had never imagined him holding a child or ever looking so confused. He’d never ask questions or ask for answers to quench his befuddlement because it was only him that could figure it all out and of course his pride. It was him, only him. She couldn’t do anything and nor could Naruto, though the blonde wouldn’t help despite himself having the answer to unasked questions.

She stood there by the door, Naruto leaning against the wall with a smirk and an ugly scar across his cheek which was a remainder of the great battle that took forth in Konoha’s own lands. His blue eyes sparkled brilliantly and his clothes, now a much lesser amount of orange still stood out against the stark brown of the wooden walls.

She wiped her eyes and turned around and leaned back against the hall way. She smiled and giggled and further wiped her eyes of childish tears. She was happy, incredibly happy. She was in disbelief but it was reality and not imaginary and she giggled further. Of course she still had the fat around her stomach to be rid of and she didn’t mind that, she had everything she ever wanted. A sense of calm and bright prospects of the future heightened her thoughts and biting her lip she prayed that is would stay as it currently was.

She would hope that one day, that she’d be up late from studying- her dream still to be as great as the Fifth, Tsunade – sama and that she’d find him on the couch, asleep and on his chest the little one. His hand would be firmly on the little one’s bottom, unconsciously and she’d smile because she’d think it would be cute but obviously mother’s instinct would kick in and she’d find a blanket to put over them.

She could see it happening when her husband grew used to having a child. The revival of the clan at the beginning, and the little one would be one of the greatest ninjas in the future because her father was great and she was a medic-nin. Black hair, green eyes, or black hair and black eyes…maybe pink hair and black eyes or pink hair and green much like her. All these little children will be running around and she’d loose count and Naruto will think of some absurd and perverted thing to say.

She could imagine that too. She didn’t mind it, in most times she found it funny but she had to act like it bothered her. It was most times his jokes were disgraceful and they always made his own wife blush in her pure innocence. She could dream that her child would fall in love with Naruto’s, a young girl who was only a year older and held the Hyuuga eyes and the blonde hair. She could dream and it’ll be perfect. She wouldn’t mind. The kid would grow up good in the future.

Whether her husband wanted it to occur she didn’t care, it was a dream.

She smiled faintly and circled the ground with her finger, her pink bangs framing her face beautifully but her eyes grew surprised and shocked when the quiet atmosphere was broken by loud sobs. Unbearable crying and instantly she was on her feet.

“Oh GOD! Make it shut up!” And she entered the room to find Sasuke holding the baby at arms length and looking panic stricken at Naruto who merely chuckled. He turned swiftly on his feet upon seeing a pink blur to his side, “your baby is crying.”

“So deal with it,” Sakura stood beside Naruto and smiled pleasantly, her green eyes taking in the comical sight and she sighed. Things wouldn’t be the same and Sasuke changed. She’d never think he’d say something so ‘Naruto-ish’ but they had been spending a lot of time together and children often changed a person’s attitudes, values and beliefs. It used to be revenge but now…its love and family.

Ok written late at night when i felt like writing something fluffy. I have the odd fascination with Sasuke being hte 'what the hell do i do with it' kind of father in regards to a baby and Naruto being hte know it all n stuff because well yea. Don't ask me y. I just like hte baby and i have a pic of hte baby scene of sasuke on the couch n all these other pics lol.

aaaaaah the story is good lol you did a good job telling us the story without giving a formal introduction to whats really going on or who is with who and all that lol. sasuke is pretty low on my list of ppl i like off naruto but yeah lol the story fits in with what sakura feels about him and all
