Does anyone know the reason why it is called Bleach?

This is just a guess, but maybe its got to do with the colour of Ichigo's hair?
Like when someones got really white/blonde hair, you say they have bleach blonde hair. I know hes not blonde, but maybe something around those lines. If its not that, then I've got no idea. --------------------  |

is it called bleach in japan? because mayb in Japanese lingo it means sumtin else or sumtin n when transferred to english its bleach, but i dunno i havent watched the series as of yet

mayb bcoz ichigo is a shinigami nd ther job is to clean up all the evil. like the hollows etc. just like a bleach is a cleaner anyway thatz my idea lol

Okey sorry for the long time of inactiveness but this is the real reason why it is called Bleach.
The writer of Bleach manga loves heavy metal and he likes either Metallica or Mudvayne or one of those heavy metal bands. And Around the time he got the idea to make the manga/comic he was listening to one of the albums called Bleach by one of the bands stated above. So as a result he decided to name it Bleach. In japan the people have trouble with pronouncing it Bleach therefore they named it Burichi on its japanese title, easy 3 syllabol title name lol. Anyways yeah ^^; thats the reason off the top of my head lol i really dont know if its right its just something i saw somewhere a while back. -------------------- I am an evil mod fear me
