My not so secret, secret.
Secret

I have a secret
that now I must tell
I have a secret
which will send me to hell

Oh, that’s what they’ll say
When I reveal what I must
That’s what they’ll claim
Ashes to ashes; dust to dust

I have a secret
which now I must share
I have a secret
not that you care

I am not the one
you believe me to be
I am not the one…
I wish you could see

There will be no more secrets
Nor anymore lies
I am what I am
I will no longer hide

I love so much more
then just only men
I love too much
How do I begin?

First I must tell those
who claim to love me so
First I must tell them
so they may know

I am no more or less
then a human who strives
I am what I always have been
It just happens I’m bi.

Very poignant Raye. I loved the rhyme scheme and the idea and confession behind it really showed through. It showed that while you were still shy about your confession, you still wanted to share it and show others that you were still basically the same. I enjoyed it thoroughly and I commened you for being honest about your feelings.

Thank you, hon. I was in the mood for a creative way to tell my family...though I'm still not quite ready to share this with them yet.

Conversing with you
has become a perilous thing
What begins with virtuous intent
ends with our own culpability and sin

You have become an object
of my own dark desires
An enticement which is
far too difficult to refuse

I cannot resist the sweet taste
of your lips against mine
Or the feel of your hands
as they wander o’er me

I cannot allow myself
to give in to your wanton lusts,
Though I cannot help but fail
(Happily) in this endeavour

Not ridiculous at all! I know someone who could really use this poem in their life right now... a friend of mine... hes been very bad to his object of lust lately and I think if he read this he'd understand. Gt gt... The temptation is nearly too great
for me to foolishly ignore
Before I have a chance to breathe
You've pinned me to the floor

Like gravity it tugs and pulls
following some draconian law
Like a wild force of nature
wounds continuously rubbed raw

I want to escape this aching pain
To flee to a land far, far away
Freeing myself of this guilt and shame
My hope remains they I yet may

I really enjoyed it.

Quite honestly, this is the last of my work.
I will do no more than journal...and perhaps the occassional piece for someone I love. Besides it's not as if anyone other than me really cares what I write. Well, there was one, but...

I can't rememeber what title I gave this...if this is ever seen again it will be cos it is the last thing I wanted people to see. (It's included in my last will and testament)

The storm raging outside
Mirrors that of my soul
The Warm darkness of night
Brings to me an all too brief
Sense of peace…respite
While brilliant flashes of light
Illuminates tersely, but in sharp relief
The ravaged landscape
Which once was my unbroken heart
Hope is merely an illusion
Quickly dispelled
By torrents of falling rain
Tonight my torment ends
No more suffering will Iendure
As I find an ardent reception
In the cherished embrace
Of the lurid, soft ground.
