OK, lets try something here. If you have a question you'd like to ask one of the "Alone in a Crowd" characters, post it here. If you do, that character will answer your question personally
The question can be about anything. The comic, life in general, if that shirt looks good on you....whatever! They're ready to give you the facts. -------------------- |

Oh it's really easy! First you find a bunch of suitcases and boxes and stuff. Then you get between them and sit still. You gotta try to be as quiet as possible to give the illusion you're full of clothes and stuff. Then when someone comes by, you move your arm so it looks like a handle. If they grab you and pick you up, YOU WIN! So far I've never won. Mom and Dad seemed to enjoy it when I played though... -------------------- |

Um, hi. Yeah, I do actually. People ask me that a lot when they discover my ears. They aren't just decoration, they're real working ears. My hearing is all I've ever known, so it just feels normal to me. Sara and Aunt Desirae tell me that I seem to be able to hear quite a bit better than they do though. So I guess I have hearing like a cat would. Though I can't communicate with cats to ask them what theirs is like. People ask me about that sometimes too. Sara and Aunt Desirae have a hard time keeping secrets from me because of my hearing being so good. They have to go in other rooms and turn appliances on and stuff. It's kind of funny actually. Ok, well um, I hope that answers your question. Bye. -------------------- Books are cool.

First of all, I'm not gay. Some people always seem to assume that. I don't think there's anything wrong with being gay at all. In fact I support 'em. I just hate how people see a guy who hangs around with girls and isn't into the manliest of things and just assume, ya know? Anyway, I don't mind it at all. I honestly feel more at home with girls than with guys. As I mentioned, I'm not really all that manly or into the typical "guy" stuff, so I have a harder time relating to a group of guys than girls. At least the average, stereotypical ones that is. One could argue the friends I choose to keep are far from typical anyway. I know I am. But I'm proud of it. Sara and I have known each other since we were very young, so I feel quite close to her. The two of us have each know Kayla since she moved here in high school, and she's very protective of us. I couldn't ask for better friends really. Gender really doesn't factor in to it. .....and I wont lie, its nice to be surrounded by boobies -------------------- Somehow I'm still single.

P...please don't pet me People always want to touch my ears when they discover them. I don't know why. Can't they respect my privacy? *sigh* Anyway, yeah, I definitely feel like the older sister sometimes. I mean, don't get me wrong. Sara's does a great job taking care of me. I don't know what I'd do without her. She does have tendency to not think things through very well though. She tells me she gets that from Dad. She also has a habit of getting lost in her music or video games and forgetting about things. I constantly have to remind her to do stuff. Sometimes it can be a little bothersome, but overall I don't mind. It's how I can help her for all the ways she helps me. I guess she needs me as much as I need her. And I love her -------------------- Books are cool.

None of us really know what happened to Marie after that day she left me with Sara. She went off somewhere, I guess. I wonder why she didn't tell me she was leaving? Maybe she got a job with another family. That'd be cool for her! I remember her telling me once that she loved to work for nice families that would converse with her and show her respect or something. That's why she told me my parents wouldn't normally be her first choice to work for. I do know I saw that they treated the other staff and her like scenery or furniture most of the time. Also, mom and dad never took the time to learn any of their names. I tried to, but it got hard sometimes. There was a lot of them. I asked mom once why she didn't try to learn the names and she said that they didn't matter and what mattered was that they did their job. I overheard Marie say to another maid one day that the only reason she put up with my parents was because of how much they paid her. I really don't see why people are so obsessed with money. It never made me very happy. -------------------- |

I like a variety of games really. My favorites are ones I can just pick up and have fun for short or long periods of time. That's why I'm not big on RPGs. I simply don't have the time or the attention span that those require. Unless it's a REALLY good one, or something more action oriented like Zelda. My game choice depends on my mood a lot. If I've had a bad day, I like a good fighting game or first person shooter to let off some stream. Action games are great when I'm in the need of some excitement. I can get completely engrossed in those. Of course since I love music I simply adore the Rock Band and Guitar Hero games. No matter what though, games today don't hold a candle to the games I grew up with. I LOVE love love love my old SNES. I still dig that out and rock those old games! How an you top the old Mario games? Kids today don't know what truly good games are really like. Wait.........did I just say "kids today?" ............son of a bitch, that sounds so old person of me. Stop that Sara. -------------------- My music > Your music
