Here's something a little different for the soundtrack. Not a theme for a character, but the end credits theme! Lets imagine AIAC was a anime series or something. This song would be the song that plays over the closing credits:

"Stand Up and Be Strong" by Soul Asylum

I liked that one so much that I reblipped it and gave you a prop! It's a great choice! I'd definitely watch!

P.S. I'm curious. Why did you prop the "Adventures Of The Little Koala" theme song? Is it one you've seen/heard before?

Glad you like it! I think that song has SUCH a great message. Plus it fits really well with AIAC's general theme.

Ah, see, that's the one thing I don't like about blip.fm. You can't leave comments for people on their choices or when you give them props. Otherwise, I would have told you why right then and there. Thank goodness for Alone in a Forum, eh? wink.gif

Yeah, I had to reblip it because I had that moment when I clicked on it where I was going "what the heck is th......OH MY GOSH!!! I REMEMBER THIS SHOW!!!!" I remembered watching that show when I was REALLY REALLY young. So it was kind of like a nostalgia flood laugh.gif Was it part of Nick Jr. on Nickelodeon back in the day? That's where I feel like I remember it from.

So cuuute laugh.gif

Yeah. My beef with them is the 150-word limit. I'd sometimes like to supply more information on some of the Classical music that I blip than that allows.

IIRC, I saw an episode of it years ago at a SF/Fantasy Con. It was part of a sample VHS that one of the vendors ran. (I think that the Complete Episode set cost $80 or $90. Couldn't tell you what it would cost today on DVD...)

Mmm, I agree. Sometimes I just want to go on and on about the songs I like. Unfortunately, that's not the place to do it. Ah well, at least it gets it out there to share.

Somehow I don't think it's a show you'd want to buy a complete set of, heh biggrin.gif It was fun way back then, but now...probably not.

I'm trying to think of the other shows back then that were anime but I didn't know it...

I thought this was, but apparently it's German: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NuZGKtCW_w

Although now I'm wondering if I actually remember "The Adventures of the Little Koala," or if I'm just thinking of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIU1DuNYHYI&feature=related

I thought this ("Maya the Bee") was, but apparently it's German: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NuZGKtCW_w

Never saw either of those. The "Maya" theme is nice and bouncy, but the "Noozles" theme doesn't spark my interest very much.

EDIT: Show names added in case anyone else is interested.

About the Smut Song, I don't think it will fit Desiree, because isn't her goal to create porn that isn't just smut?

Well, no, it wouldn't be a theme for Desirae or anything like that. What I mean is that she herself would enjoy the song for the comedy value.

You're right, she is out to create porn that isn't filth and sleaze. But she would find a song like the "smut song" quite funny, simply considering she still IS in the adult films industry and can see the humor behind it all. To me, "smut" doesn't have to be a harsh word necessarily. I see it as something Desirae would say more in joking. For instance, she might refer to her films as "high class smut," but she would never say "high class filth." In her mind, "smut" has more of a playful connotation to it then it once did.

"Hate to Say I Told You So" by The Hives

Honestly though, Kalya has absolutely no problem telling people she told them so wink.gif
