The U.S. Department of Agriculture has named over 1,000 counties in 26 states as disaster areas -- the largest declaration in history -- as a result of the recent drought, wildfires and other extreme weather events threatening agriculture and many other industries across the entire country. As scientists have told us, this is what the climate crisis looks like. Al Gore, July 2012 (Posted Image) http://www.huffingtonpost.com/al-gore/extr..._b_1675032.html |

The drought conditions are really getting bad in a lot of places. Surprisingly, we've gotten more rain this summer than we got last year. It's managed to keep the heat down too which has been a relief. But there are still many areas suffering. We really need to start going to a greener environment. The price of solar panels look to be going down. Heck, I even saw on youtube how you could make your own solar panel - though after the 6th part, it started looking a little complicated, so I took a break and will have to go back and watch the rest later.
