It's NOT as though Barack Obama hasn't reached out to the opposition...but bending over backwards to individuals who endorsed and supported Dubya's poor management for the last 8 years isn't going to garner any GOOD feelings as well! :angry:

Nobody said Barack Obama and the Democrats would just wave a 'magic wand' and instantly 'fix' everything! George Bush cause quite a bit of 'damage' to our economy and image over the last 8 years, and it is going to take time to put this nation 'back on track'.

But I agree with papa, FAILURE is 'unacceptable', and it is what the neocons are hoping for, a failed economy, and another attack on U. S. soil so they can start afresh with the Politics of Division & Fear again. anybody who wants THAT is just totally 'sick' in the head.

Democrats need to OUTSCREAM this 'minority' WITH A POSITIVE MESSAGE!

The GOP voted solidly AGAINST the Stimulus Package, but it still passed.

There is no use trying to get some 'bipartisan' movement going from them, as they continously prove they are STILL listening to Rush Limbaugh and Company on the radio.

Imagine where we would be if we had NOT agreed to the TARP. This is the result of a 'low wage', 'zero growth' GOP/Bush Economy.

I say that if there can be NO compromise between the GOP and Democrats that the Republicans will take yet ANOTHER hit in 2010. All the Democrats have to do is call the GOP a Party of 'Obstructionists' and they will take yet MORE control in Congress.

Only a FEW in the GOP like Senator Arlen Specter voted for the bill.

If we listen to people like Hannity, Beck, and Limbaugh who are actually waving the FAILURE Flag(it's like the White Flag Of Surrender for OUR ECONOMY), and do NOTHING then massive unemployment and civil unrest would be the result! Now who in their 'right' mind would actually be HOPING everything fails?

Neocon Radio is HOPING it does!
