according to headlines everywhere today, Hillary wants to become the head of the World Bank next year (2013) as it appears the current Pres. wants to retire.
Now, that would put rest to rumors she is retiring, as this is a job of major importance she can hold for a couple of years (until the official need to delcare in 2016). Haven't found a great story yet to post on this, soon as I or someone else if they see one, please post it. |

Would this preclude a Clinton run for the White House in 2016? Somebody HAS to take over after Barack Obama's 2nd term...Being Secretary Of State has it's privileges...Most times when the VP doesn't take over for an incumbent, the Secretary Of State can run for the job...We have no Premier in our government...so that becomes the job of the Secy. Of State...Hillary is our outward face to other world nations...and the State Department handles our Ambassadors to other countries... ;)
The World Bank is in itself a prestigious position...but does THAT translate into a run for this nation's HIGHEST OFFICE? :good: I am a Clintonian Democrat....became one when Clinton/Gore built the BEST Economy that BOOMED in the 90's... :good: Make no mistake that I would vote for Clinton again in 2016! :!: Unless Al Gore attempted a run that is... ;) This post has been edited by REV PAPA BEAR on Mar 21 2012, 06:15 PM |
