Al Gore said when Obama was searching for a Vice President that he wasn't interested in doing that again. I don't see any reason to think Biden will not continue as VP. When an incumbent President doesn't have to face a primary challenge within his party the odds of re-election are very good.

It is my understanding that Hillary wants to retire. Have you seen her lately? She looks totally worn-out and in need of a long rest. I think that her desire to be president is gone.

The one reason I think Gore won't is that now that he is a mega money maker,
he would have to divest all that, and its not that easy to separate current, say
from himself.

Hillary has said she only wants one term as SOS, and Biden was just given China
as his responsiblity(which is a big area, don't you think?)

I've heard a lot of speculation that Hillary will be VP and Biden will be Sec'y of State. I think it would be a shame to not have a VP who can run as president in 2016, and Hillary would be a good choice.

I can't see Hillary Clinton running for president in 2016. She would be close to 70 years old. I'm all for it, but she will be too old.

Did you see Hillary last night at the State of the Union Address? She looks worn out and I don't think that she wants to be anything anymore.

Ever since she grew her hair longer (following her presidential campaign), she has looked old and tired. It's very unbecoming.

From a male's point of view-
I think Hillary looks better now than she ever did.

And remember at SOTU- she and Leon were holding a major secret in that only
President Obama also knew, but it was not yet announced.

If you look at the clip where the President says something to both of them,
she is beaming.

That was the secret that the Seal team wentt to Somolia and freed the hostages.
(dang, if only that same seal team was around when President Carter was in office, he would have easily won election.)

Another great job done by our President on Foreign affairs.It really is getting to the point where he truly is going to be considered one of the top 2 or 3 presidents
on foreign issues (which 9 out of 10 times is considered more important than domestic ones, historically).

I agree, Patsy, that Hillary looks worn out. It seems she started looking that way after she took the SoS position. That has to be a very stressful job. I tend to believe her when she says she is ready to get out of public office. Didn't she say something about going back into an advocacy position or something?

And EM, I also agree about the long hair. It does not flatter her at all. Her short stylish hairdos looked so much better on her. Sometimes I wonder if she didn't grow it out to look more stately like. She has the looks of a SCOTUS. Of course, I'm not trying to push anything here. Just an observation. :rolleyes:
