Hey guys I figured this was as good as any place to ask I’ve been writing the rule set for a miniature war game that includes both air sea and land elements in a slightly larger scale then ai in a universe of my creation While its going well I’m having problems with how to construct there bases All units in this game have limited ammo and air units limited fuel while the rules are still in the early phase the way I’m planning they both could be as little as 0 or as much as 20 I was wondering if any one knew a good way to represent this on the models bases at first I was thinking using an dial system like ai but I have no idea how to build that So yeah if you do or can think of a better way I will be grateful |

Hmmmmm. That is tricky. Would it simply be easier to use a D20 dice? Perhaps uyou could carve out a small space on the base to place it if you didn't want the dice to follow around?
The only way I have though of for making AI style bases would be to use to bases, cut out part of the top one, put in your dial in between. Easier said then done, and mass producing them would be challenging. -------------------- ^Cheap Skate^

Yeah been thinking abit more maybe I could have a section of the base that slides out and have the numbers put on them?
This is just one of many problems I’m trying to figure out at this point in time but I would like to figure it out earlier rather than later I do have access to lots of plastic card and modelling putty so I might just try to wing it for the first one |

So, the strip of paper with the numbers would feed through the base from left to right? Pretty clever.
Trial and error maybe the best bet. I would be interested in seeing your results. Please keep us posted. -------------------- ^Cheap Skate^

That looks like it would work well. I'm interested to see a proto-type.
