This is the third Newsletter for the Airspace Forums. The intention of this Newsletter is to keep you up-to-date with the world of Aeronuatica Imperialis and the Airspace forum in particular. Here we highlight news, interesting threads, paint schemes, and other tidbits.
Time to take off.
First off, we have had a lot of new members lately! That is great to see as the Aeronautica Imperialis community is the future of this hobby. Be sure to give all the new members a hearty ĎWelcome!Ē when you see them posting.
Next, in the Paintshop we have a great new thread by Zoring. It is a WWI German themed Imperial Fighter Wing. Not only does it have an interesting paint scheme, but it comes equipped with nice fluff! He even has a badge for his Squadron. Check out Zoringís great creativity here: http://z8.invisionfree.com/Airspace/index.php?showtopic=734
We are now into our Third Airspace Contest. The previous contest winners have been added to the Winnerís Circle and there custom signature lines added. This monthís contest lasts until the end of March. Itís not too late to join in. The theme this month is to create the rules for a new aircraft for AI. You can find the details here: http://z8.invisionfree.com/Airspace/index.php?showtopic=737
Plus, here is a link to our past winners: http://z8.invisionfree.com/Airspace/index.php?showtopic=726
CheesyRobman started and interesting article about Ork tactics for Beginners that you will want to read. Some interesting insights are inside. Take a moment and feel free to add your thoughts. You can find the article here: http://z8.invisionfree.com/Airspace/index....=717&st=0last
Work will begin soon to design the next Airspace Online Campaign. The previous campaign, War Over Zephyrus; had over 500 people download the rulebook, a core of 10+ active participants, and over 50 people read each of the updates. The plan is to have one online Campaign per year, and planning for the 2011 AI campaign is just beginning! To make the next campaign even better, please take a moment and let us know what you thought of the last one, and put in your ideas for the next one. You can do that here: http://z8.invisionfree.com/Airspace/index.php?showtopic=713
Finally, before we sign off, I encourage you to take a look at the Airspace Player Roll Call started by Arcade 81. This is a great resource to help you get connected with other AI enthusiasts in your area for an exciting game, to swap models, or simply share old war stories. You can get yourself added to the Roll Call here: http://z8.invisionfree.com/Airspace/index.php?showtopic=501
