I think I remember them in Enishi somewhere. They are on Chika's swim team. In the manga, they first arrive in Volume 10, and show up again in Volume 12. The anime ran ahead of the English releases of the manga, so it sort of made for some spoilers for us. Although I think they changed the story quite a bit in some places, so it wasn't all that bad.

So she would be early teenage. On the other hand, it's common for the anime style to portray people as looking younger than the age they're supposed to be. And I think I remember some mention that Chika wasn't developing as fast as some of the other girls in her class. Obviously missed the gene her cousin Taeko got!

I doubt that Chika's age has ever been mentioned. Ai Yori Aoshi is like that. The most obvious age was Mayu=16 in vol 4. The rest are obscure. But Ai Yori Aoshi definitely does mention what year in school each character is. Chika entered her first year of High School, = 10th grade, in vol 8. She is still in her first year of High School.

Gotcha. Need to review the whole series again. Started it two years ago. There's just so much other manga I want to read too... :(
