What game can you go out and kill as many zombies as you want with a nearly unlimited supply of weapons? Two words, Dead Rising.

Dead Rising is probably one of the most enjoyable games that I've played in my lifetime, and it looks great and has a great storyline, too!

You are Frank West, a freelance photojournalist who gets a tip that strange things are at hand at Willamette, Colorado. You fly over there on a helicopter and see some strange things on the way towards the city center. You land on top of Willamette Mall and tell your pilot to come back for him in 3 days. Your mission in the next 72 hours is to find out how the madness started and to STAY ALIVE.

Graphics

The graphics are AMAZING. I've never seen such great graphics in a console game before. I might be exaggerating a bit, but they're really good. Just awesome.

Gameplay

You can pick up almost every item in the game, as well as dress tons of different ways. Of course, with the XBox comes achievements, and with achievements comes new outfits and weapons to your disposal, making the game even more fun with much more replay value. The zombies are fun to kill, and there are plenty of sidequests to keep you busy while you wait for the main quest to occur. Leveling up is fun and takes a while, but it's totally worth it because you'll be able to karate chop through hordes of zombies. That's about all there is to it. I would say more but that's for you to find out by playing the game.



Overall, the game is awesome and I totally recommend you playing it. There are 3 different game modes to play which makes the game really fun.
