Nestled between the two mountains that compose Achellaith Weyr, the Weyrbowl is very nearly hidden from those who do not know where it is, surrounded by a fringe of trees that shade it from view.

Riders' Weyrs
The side of the volcano is dotted with openings for dragon and rider alike. These Weyrs have running water and an inner pulley system that helps bring up supplies, if needed.

Candidates Barracks
Housed on the mountain next to the volcano, the barracks are dug in a fair, protected bit, nestled near the where the two stone behemoths meet.

Infirmary
Located exactly where the volcano and mountain meet lies the Infirmary, a large, cavernous room with many smaller offshoots, perfect for housing dragons and private patients.

Wher Housing
Near the base of the mountain, a complex series of dimly lit tunnels house the few whers at Achellaith Weyr. These housing units vary greatly in size, with higher-ranking colors often holding the larger rooms.

Kitchens
The kitchens are wound deep within the mountain, and inaccessible to those on the outside. Only those who have rooms are capable of reaching them. A large passageway lined with carts connects it to the volcano.

Hatching Sands
Deep within the volcano lie the Hatching Sands, heated by what little magma remains. The sand here comes in two varities, black and white, each of which are meticulously groomed so that they never mix.

Weyr Lake
Fed by an overgrown, tropic stream, the Weyr Lake is warm any time of the year, though not overly so. Three of its sides are sloped in soft sand, while the third is a sheer black cliff face with a slide cut into it, perfect for anyone.

Glass Hold
The other of Achellaith's holds, Glass Hold is a brooding, yet wealthy Hold, where the line between the upper and lower caste is prominently displayed. They are reluctant to pay their tithe to Achellaith, and make no secret of it.
