OOC: this took place during the Last Battle. I'm writing this mainly for fun and that the title of the site gave me an idea.

Bryay had finished asisting the head cook in the kitchens before he went off to bed. Unlike previous visits to the kitchen, this time Bryay wasn't cleaning pots, he was helping the cook with the tallies and the actual cooking, most of the kitchen aids were drafted to fight. Bryay was sorrowful at the fact that his friends, the few he had, were off fighting while he was stuck in the Tower helping a fat old man. Bryay flopped onto his bed and fell into a deep sleep, not even bothering to remove his boots. I know I need to work on the Foretelling

Bryay was detached from his mind, the feeling was familiar, he had done this many times before, he was Dreaming. Memeories of the horrible dreams he had had welled up in his mind, of men dieing, women weeping, and children bawling. Before he could react he was swept away in the throws of prophecy. HE watched as hordes of black creatures pour out of an endless fog. He screamed silently as rows upon rows of men were reeped like a harvest of grain. Themn, a burst of light from above burned away the miasma and revealed a mountain. It took Bryay a moment to realise that there was a figure on top of the mountain burning away the faog, and with it the beasts of the night. The light suddenly stopped, and Bryay some how knew that he was dead. Bryay silently wailed for their savior's death, but he some how knew that the figuere's purpose was fufilled. Bryay looked about, he was surrounded buy the corpses of both men and nightmare. He then woke with a start.

Bryay noticed that there were people around him and idly thought, what's going on? HE then suddered as the pattern revealed itself to him. "The light has triumphed this day. The cost was great and the fight isn't over, but the nightmare is over. The New Dream has claimed the land and the world shall thrive. but the nightmare still lurks, heed well my words." Bryay then fell unconcious and spent then next four days dancing the line between life and death.
