My small testimonial

hey guys, just wanna share a small victory on my side here. i was scheduled to do duty this saturday but it was brought forward to december last year because they had one person missing for a saturday duty, so this fren of mine, Joseph, who's supposed to cover for my fren who's arranging the duty clerks, Fong, promised to tell Fong that I'd be excused for this month and next month, as it was a Saturday.

But sanshoshima struck when Fong refused to change my duty clerk, which meant that I would have to do it on Saturday. My duty will end at 8am on Sunday, which means I'll be late for the institution meeting and even if i were to go, i'd probably be pretty much tired. but with daimoku and some encouragement from beron, i didn't give up and chanted to go for this sunday's institution meeting and finally, Joseph agreed to split the cost of the duty with me if I could sell it. Weekend duties over at my side don't go cheap. Usual rate is $100. Joseph agreed to fork out $70 while i paid $30. Although i paid $30, it's a small price to pay for being able to attend Sunday's institution meeting!

So i really hope all of you who are facing difficulties with attending this Sunday's meeting, please don't give up or let it be an excuse for you. If i can, u can!
